I was in La Traviata(just in the chorus) and came to love this music. It's so evocative.

Was für ein fantastischer musikalischer ausdruck von purer lebensfreude! Ja,ja der grosse giuseppe verdi;selbst mozart, beethoven und rossini haben solches nicht in dieser perfektion hingekriegt...
Erst mehr als 100 (!) Jahre später ist er in dieser hinsicht noch übertroffen worden; zuerst(1974) von patrick hernandez mit "born to ne alive" und dann noch einmal von den eurythmics mit "love is a stranger" (version 1989) ..

Time for a comment. Thank you Roberto for posting this. It's amazing. It seems to be that the teatro di florenzuola is not that large. But the performance proves that even with more modest means the atmosphere at the Villa can be perfectly shown. (from Germany)
