TL Sparker is the newest aircraft from TL North America. They spent 2-3 years developing this aircraft and it is finally here flying in North America. We sat down with US distributor Trey Murdaugh to discuss the TL Sparker and its unique design and capabilities

A fully composite, IFR certified, turbo aircraft is gonna cost ya. They build to the demands of their clients. That’s how business works.
Beautiful but absurd price for an un-insurable plane. Better off with a Bristell at that price.

3 points he left out: {1} what is the rated g load ?? {pos & neg} {2} Does it have BRS ?? {3} being a bubble canopy aircraft, how do you escape if the aircraft flips over ??
BRS is standard. Planes & Pilot stated “11g ultimate load”

Wonderful plane but way too pricey 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶 but if you keep it for at least 10 years and fly it a lot you save a lot of money.

Kitplanes April 2023 review states that this is a build-assist Experimental Category airplane. The builder has to go to the Czech Republic for three-weeks for build/transition flight training. No mention as to how the builder would get the plane to the U.S.. Maybe by now, there are build-assist facilities for this plane here in the U.S.? Will there be a kit version, minus build-assist? If so, what's the price?

@@mauriceevans6546 If the latest MOSAIC draft passes, it will be in the LSA. Still gotta get it across the Pond, either flying, or crated as a kit. I have to admit, the cockpit layout is impressive. Simplicity is relaxing.
Shipping is done via standard shipping container via ship. Wings are removed and re-attached in the US.

The TL Sparker does not meet the Light Sport requirements. It is in the Experimental category though. $400K can build you one heck of an RV-10.
This plane is designed for mosaic rules that will be published late 24 to early 25. This will be a mosaic lsa

2:35 with an increased payload of 1652 lbs? Then he states gross weight of 1652 lbs? This salesman needs to brush up his stats. I found on their European website that this has a MTOW of 600 kg, and empty weight of 350 kg, giving you 250 kg aka 550 lbs of useful load. after 205 lbs of full fuel, your weight envelope is 350 lbs. Can anyone else fact check me on this please?
That's the LSA version not this MSLA. That is why this can only be brought in to the USA as a EAB.
The experimental version coming to the US has an MTOW of 750KG (1652 lbs). The base plane weighs more but still has 450 lbs available after the 205 lbs of full tank.
