Im a Richmond fan, but this result was very surprising, I can't believe that the eagles made so many turnovers and mistakes throughout the whole game but go torched. Optus Stadium used to be a nightmare stadium to play the eagles but have lost to the suns by 27, swans by 63, tiges by 109, and dockers by 55. Full credit to Richmond, even though the eagles are not in great form it was a strong response after a very disappointing last couple of weeks.
Well done Tigers.. we needed that one.. Just to get a bit of confidence back
Richmond set a record for the highest halftime score from turn overs last night. Also the first time WC have conceded 9 in a row at the ground. Their biggest loss in 14 years. They were just... abysmal.

@@LDSports933 Still a good night for Tommy Lynch, personally as a Richmond fan I am awared of his goalkicking from set shots at pretty much straight infront of goal sometimes hahaha.
Most the modern day forwards miss ridiculous shots at times, usually due to fatigue more running than the old days. In saying that Tom may have had his share of shockers but he's also put some impossible shots straight through the middle and won many games for Richmond because of it to be fair.

@Soussy Hopefully the eagles can bounce back in the future bro, prior to their recent form from the last 6 months, I have always enjoyed watching their side because they play a very entertaining brand of footy.

I don’t think Richmond could do this to any other team. The Eagles defence is too open and forward line just terrible. Just rebuild and you’ll get better

@@zaksk-zhj77 Nah, North is better. Their youth has more stability and potential. Simpkin, Horne-Francis, Larkey, to name a few. Eagles just grabbed a bunch of middle age recruits like they do every other year and as a result they look beyond ordinary with almost zero potential

WestCoastEaglesfan1111, I understand your disappointment from last night but the eagles were simply outclassed, made their defence and midfield too easy for the tiges midfield (That is a weakness of Richmond from 2020-21) Besides, Richmond won the disposals, inside 50's, hit outs and clearances and deserved to win.
