I went with my dad to see Marty at Glasgow in the Fifties, I was only 10 My dad was killed in the shipyard in 1959. That was the last time I done anything with my dad. The one song I remember was " Endless Deep " Great memories 😎🏴
Really enjoyed this Hayley. What a great voice Marty still has and a really nice genuine guy. Great songwriter too. I loved the new song Rise. Great Interview Hayley,a very nice guy, Was sad to recently hear that Roger his Bass player had passed on .I was in a band with him in the very late sixties , and I believe he was with the Wildcats for over 15 years,🧙♀
He lived near us and I worked at a nursery school and had his sons 2 children there. Shook Marti’s hand one Christmas when he came to see his grandchildren’s Christmas nativity. My son was a big fan of his daughter Kim..
