I strongly feel that Nissan Patrol should be launched in India considering its strong market in the Middle-East and also a great LC rival. Although not many customers would be buying this SUV in India, there are a lot of buyers who really like the design and road presence over the Toyota Land Cruiser (with due respect).
I think the F-150 has potential for the Indian market, if not at least ford should launch the Ranger as it makes more sense it’ll compete with the Isuzu v-cross or D max. I live in south East Asia and I see lots of Rangers Tesla has potential too, if Elon can come up with a compact electric car for the indian market and make so many charging stations it will do just fine but government should allow soon, I understand majority of the Indians are lower middle class But there are so many rich and Higher middle class people as well.
I really do believe that Tesla would come here by mid 2021 as it was due mid 2020 and didn’t show due to the pandemic and previous recession in automotive industry. I really do feel that Lincoln and or Cadillac might come to India. But, that won’t be anytime soon till 2021 end of yr. However, anyone here in India as of now. Won’t be spending single penny on purchasing any of the three hummers, as govt recently imposed limitations on registration of cars . So, they might rent it on Dubai for a day or so and that would be it. It’s GM too and won’t make Comeback anytime sooner. Let’s be honest Chevrolet did survive with cruise and it was going well with trailblazer. But, it’s other models didn’t had enough sales. So, Chevrolet has exited at the end. And you’re aware of it. Forgot to add in 2014 Chevrolet did showcased corvette in India auto expo. But, it was just a showcased didn’t show up actually in the showroom. It gained good attention, why wouldn’t it gain its “corvette”. Rest is history and Ford did launched Mustang. In concluding note, I hope the same for all the cars you’ve mentioned that it should come to India soon.
