  • Ever wondered how to fix leaky well tanks like a pro? Join us as we dive into a full plumbing overhaul on a customer’s sprinkler system with dedicated well tanks! Follow along as we tackle corroded fittings and transform an old, leaky setup into a brand-new, efficient system.
First things first, we bid farewell to the old stuff - disconnecting the electric and cutting out those pesky old lines. With Teflon tape and pipe dope in hand, we prep the area for new installations. Fun fact: Teflon tape is the duct tape of the plumbing world, perfect for stopping leaks!
We’re dealing with black polyethylene pipes, common for underground water supply. Using special fittings, we connect these pipes to copper for the rest of the run. We’ll add a gauge, pressure switch, and drain to the well tee before connecting everything to the supply line for the sprinklers.
Did you know reverse osmosis systems can remove up to 99% of contaminants from water? These systems are the superheroes of water filtration and have been used since the 1950s to turn seawater into drinkable water!
