the old log he was lifting should never have bent if it was made right, these loader are built way to light for what they can lift, witch is not much.. look at any other cross bar an it heavy square tubing, not a small round shaft that has little strength on it side, lot pushing strait down or pulling put nothing left or right.. junk
@@arnoldromppai5395 Doesn't take much to tweak a loader on any tractor, when you have a load on it. It seems like the SSQA on my BX2680 is built better than the one they used on that LX machine.
Its awesome that your kid is so happy to help with all this outdoor work. Its hard work, and she doesn't seem bothered by it at all. Like many kids even I absolutely HATED hard outdoor work, (I eventually learned to like it) And a LOT of teens these days are incredibly whiny and lazy, and shes right there, helpful, and in high spirits. I love that! Shes going to do well in life!
I bought a new truck 10 minutes after we left the lot got an accident totaled my brand new truck had 5 miles on it I know how it feels to break your brand new toys right there with you❤
I've seen this same damage many times on the tractor forums. I feel and look to make sure the locking pins are in the slots on my attachments every time I switch them. I also have an LX2610 and love it! Love your channel and content as well!
Number 1 and 2 rules of using equipment. Triple check every thing you hook up. 2. When carrying heavy loads keep the heavy side uphill and close to the ground during travel
I bought a B2650 (same as the LX2610 sans R14 tires and badging) in 2017 with (all Land Pride attachments) BH77 backhoe, RTA tiller, box scraper, pallet forks and rear blade. Unit now has 410 hours. Absolutely fantastic tractor. Not sure how you did what you did but it happens. I recently bent my front end loader after working with some very large logs (moving & loading onto a flat bed trailer). There is a fine line between using the tractor to its limits and going over it. It was my fault. Thankfully I have KTAC insurance. Easy phone call to explain what I did. They sent an inspection request to my dealer who told KTAC what was needed to fix it. Some $2500 later everything was fixed with new parts and all I paid was a $250 deductible ... well, I guess I also had already paid for the KTAC policy. Anyway, I'd highly encourage KTAC once your warranty is over. Plus, KTAC covers my tractor off my property while my homeowners insurance does/would not.
Along as the paddles themselves are not bent, just cycle the curl up and down a few times. They should just line right back up. If the paddles do get bent, a tree and low limbs can actually help you out. Also, when you hook these attachments up with the QA, open both latches at once so the attachment falls down square on the mount before clamping the lever(s) down. This will prevent any bending/binding stress. And definitely don't be afraid to slap a little grease on the sliders. : )
Just push both cylinders forward, when the left one hits the end of it's travel, the right one will keep going until it hits the end of it's travel and should fix the problem.
It most likely would not have the top limit hydraulic pressure to overcome the force that the torque tube he bent is pushing back with. Now he could take 5 min and cut the torque tube and most likely do what you say, and then after both cylinders are out, reweld the tube and whala! easy cheap fix..
When I purchased my tractor the salesman handed me a shovel and said that I will use it more now than I have ever in my collective past.... He was correct. And then he let me know the other words of wisdom. You are going to get it stuck. You are going to break it, And you will get a flat tire. If will hurt you. You will hit something you didn't plan to, You will do stuff you never would have tried to accomplish by hand. It will be too big and too small at times. Do not let it run out of diesel the first time you do will not be the last. Oh and most importantly have fun.
Hey brother, from one Sip to another - it's not a big deal. It sucks, but it is repairable. Just remember that you need to lift both skid steer arms at the same time for your implement to "seat" in place. Then after lowering the arms, look down below to make sure that both pins engaged into the saddle. Bad things happen when this isn't done. Enjoyed video.
Except for the dealer its just a simple removal and replacement of the SSQA adapter, they're not going to waste time cutting, straightening and rewelding that mess, they simply replace the SSQA adapter. With KTAC its a $250 customer learning experience. Love KTAC, they fix or replace things that idiots like me break. A $250 deductible is all you end up paying for stuff like this. Very cheap insurance considering the cost of a tractor.
Just push against a tree with the over extended cylinder side at full extension and again at fully retracted. You should be able to get it back on the same plane to be able to hook attachments on. That cross bar is definitely not strong enough though. My tractor has a 2.5" square tube between the two sides and I have done the same thing many times over my 19 years with my tractor and never had that issue. Sometimes it's hard to get them lined up since the rear tires need to be on the same plane as the attachment when you are hooking up. Always lift up and double check engagement before locking down the pins. Good luck!
Exactly. Just push the left hand side against a tree, and curl forward until they're pretty even again. The tube that bent is just to keep them aligned until an implement is attached. Then the strength is from the bucket etc.
@ :49, my first thought Mike had it backwards. My dad always put my in the bucket to pick fruit, change outside light bulbs, and clean gutters while he drove. Said I bounced better than he did. @ 13:59, thinking maybe Frankie better stay in the drivers seat. ha ha ha. Learning curve brother......learning curve.
With insurance, the simple fix is to replace the entire attachment plate. Cutting the bent piece off, realigning the two planes and welding the cross bar is going to involve cutting, bending and welding, which can happen again. Hopefully the lift cylinder piston rod isn't bent, otherwise the piston should also be replaced on a 2 hour old loader tractor. Once you've got Kenny (Miranda) back again, the handles that lock the attachment to the loader frame, paint a line to indicate this point is the locked line. This type of accident happens frequently. What doesn't happen frequently is having that moment on video. A nylon lifting strap used as a choker on the T-post and rebar will pull them out if you raise them straight out of the ground. Otherwise a high lift 4X4 jack works good.
Just because the locking handles are down doesn't mean those pins engaged the lower slots in the attachment, you always have to check that the pins engaged in the slots on the attachment, regardless where those locking handles are pushed down to, those pins must seat into the slots in the attachment otherwise, well you see in the video what happens when they don't.
First and foremost is u always , always, always check and triple check the attachments before use , it isn't so much of reading the instructions , it's taking the time when it did come loose to make positive it's connected 😊....... live and learn is the country way.
Hard lesson... Its the driver!!!! Always make sure the pins are fully engaged before moving equipment. Its easy to fix this. press one against a tree and push the lever to extend the cylinder. Both latches have to be open and forks straight b4 latching. Mike only had one side latched... Mikey can't blame the inspector... He should of read to instructions. I am a 50 year heavy equip operator and even I read the instructions on a new piece of equip.
I would call that a minor repair. Plasma Cutter, Grinder, the bar stock or pipe to replace the old one and bleeding out the hydraulics to sync them back up and weld in the new piece. 3-5 hours, depending on the paint. Haha. Enjoyed the video!
No sometimes the easiest fix can work best try using a larger tree and press on the forward one it worked once on both of my machines see the cylinders are linked in series and pressing on one will extend the other
There is no syncing of hydraulics here, just curl the bucket for an extra 2 seconds and both cylinders will be fully extended/retracted. My 2 John Deere loaders that bar is simply bolted in place as all it does is keep spacing between the arms, it is too light duty to be anything but a spacer. My 4 series pipe is the same size as this 2 series one he has. Best to push against something to straighten as Wes has stated, curling to adjust can create a flying object really fast.

Its a Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA), 2 levers one on each side of the loader to install/remove attachments on the loader...this allows you to in theory use any attachment you can use on a skid steer on a tractor that is also equipped with the SSQA...course within the working limits of the tractor's loader....Its really nice very versatile feature, but if used improperly it can create some serious damage, as was shown in this video. Once you tweak those SSQA mounts, you are in for some $$$$ in repairs. Don't happen often, but it does happen. Just have to always make sure you check that the lower pins go through the slots/holes in the attachment you are connecting before you start using that attachment....luckily for this guy it didn't come off while he had the forks way up in the air and end up wearing the pallet forks and that log.
Drove forks into ground and drove forward. Bending easy attachment assembly. Very easy to do. The earth is strong. Better off not battling that. The earth always wins
I’ve been watching you guys for a long time. All i have to say is y’all bought way to light of a tractor. Kabota is very reliable starting running but very light construction even in the higher horse power . Best of luck every body has growing pains especially with farm equipment.
Thats because they bought a tractor for their needs. Use it for its intended usage and you will have no troubles. Thats why they make different size tractors for different jobs. I have the same tractor and never had a problem i think some people are thick.
Mike I drove my first tractor at 5 yrs. Old but I have never seen that happen before! I’m 68 now!!! Here are a few things that may help!!! A diesel generates its greatest power at idle so always use the lowest rpm setting possible!! Always double and triple check every attachment hook up! Low rpm and slow steady movements are your friends with a tractor or any equipment!! If a tractor is jerking or jumping,,, the power level is too high!!! This next one has helped more times than I can count,,,,, If you ever get off of a tractor or piece of equipment for any reason,,, always walk all the way around and do a visual before you get back on!!!! Look at wheels, connectors, fuel lines and carburetor, radiator and feel heat coming off of engine! A tractor will always suck grass and weeds and leaves on to radiator and cause it to over heat!!! Watch this closely!! Just a suggestion,,, this has helped me prevent problems!!!
diesel equipment is made to run at wide open throttle and run on the governor when working them, i cant tell you how many pumps i have replaced in my life and re-seal cylinders from over heated oil an oik staved pumps from people running them underload at low RPM. AND MOST WARANTIES WILL NOT COVER FOR THIS DAMAGE, many customers you cant tell them anything, then they are mad when warranty dont cover abuse and they have to put out 8 to 10k for a new pump. the loader arms and hook up on these tractors are junk, they are made so lifht for the high presser they put out, i have seem mant loader arms totally twisted, simply because they are built so light, one should never have to worry what they are lifting, that is what relief valves are for
Love this as I also work for and deliver for Chickasaw in Tupelo. To manually pull steel fence post try driving them deeper about 2 or 3 inches then use pipe wrench about waist hide pulling straight up. Works well with practice.
I am so glad I’m not the only Mike that ain’t doing nothing unless he’s tearing something up...lol as my grandfather used to tell me. Cheers to the Mike’s 👍
You can fix that easily. You should be able to sync up your arms by hand. There will be a rod that helps connect each side together. But they still are connected to same input. The right side will respond first to hydraulic pressure
A lot of the other channels show a similar occurrence. Glad no one was hurt. Those quick attachments are great but they need a way to make certain they are locked in and secure. Hey, a good implement augmentation for someone to sell.
The way you know they are locked is if you pay attention and look and see that the pins engaged in the slots in the attachment, its extremely easy to tell, people get complacent like everything else they do and plain don't pay attention, and pretty soon you are dropping your attachments in places you don't want them to be HAHA!!
Saw that happening as soon as I saw the release levers were not properly disengaged when you were first hooking up. I did this recently with my grapple and it ended up falling in the the hay feeder hanging by the hydraulic lines. If I didn't have another tractor to lift it up so I could disengage the lines I don't know what I would of done. My rule of thumb now is to make sure handles are fully released, pickup implement or bucket and roll all the way back and then engage levers and visually make sure the pins go through the holes. Then, test it before moving.
That's how I do it as well, lift the attachment off the ground and curl back, then push the locking levers down, seats them properly every time. With the attachment on the ground, most times its not lined up with the bottom of the SSQA plate so there is a gap between the back of the attachment and the SSQA plate which allows the locking pins to pass by the slots in the attachment and not secure the attachment...course you quickly find that out when the attachment falls off like in the video HAHA!!!
The laugh when it came loose was hilarious. You even made me laugh. I’m gonna make it my ringtone! Gotta watch that again and again and again! If you don’t think that was funny then you just ain’t got no sense of humor! Lol! No wonder he didn’t want anyone to see it!
That hurts my heart.....pour one on the ground for my missing homie. Rub some dirt on it, it'll be OK. Good news is that it's broke in now so you don't have to worry about scratching it.
I know another RUclips channel tweaked his front end loader (My Cluttered Garage) and had to have the loader replaced. I think he was using his forks with logs too. Kubota insurance covered it. Also, I have seen other channels where people forgot to lock in the attachment. It happens and you learn from it. So is the tractor’s new name Kenny?
Wow I was watching and saying on no. Always be equal on the loader and this why I love the grapple. Also it was great you posted this. it is also why I went much bigger and picked kioti as it was much cheaper.

Hey nice job picking fruit off trees. Is fun but not good done it myself no blame from me. Have a thought for you and me . Get a pallet add a solid railing around it and on one side make a latching gait . For in and out.Than use it with the forks. Put a clamp on both forks for keeping it from sliding off.I love it works good for me.I love your style and work efforts.I allway wish you all the best have a great day.
Well it happens with lot of seat time you will get better I promise keep up the videos I have a b7500 kubota looking at the lx2610 with cab this go around let me know how you like it
It’s pretty easy to not properly connect an attachment with the skid steer quick attach (SSQA). It’s best to have everything clean and to lift the levers fully up before connecting. Once connected lift the loader a little, curl the arms back a bit and everything should pop into place, then pull the levers down, checking the pin fully goes past the plate locking the attachment in. If it’s not right the pin might hit the plate and lift instead of locking down. Both pins should be inspected along with the loader’s plates seeing there is a solid connection that is locked in. It could have been worse. An attachment with a hydraulic connection like a 4 in 1 bucket or grapple could have fallen off or someone could be hurt when the load fell off. The tractor is not at fault as no loader is designed to carry stuff when pallet forks are not properly attached, hanging off one side and the forks fall off while carrying a load.
I do the same thing when swapping attachments on the loader...once I engage the top portion of the SSQA, I lift the attachment and curl it back, then lock the levers down and double check that the pins engaged the slots of the attachment...
That divider is only to keep the distance between latches constant. The insurance fix is to replace the ssqa. The cheap fix is to move the plates back parallel and reweld the divider not a cheap fix but way cheaper than a new part. The hydraulics were not out of sync, they work on pressure and always put equal pressure to both like cylinders. The problem as you pointed out is that only one of the latches were connected. This is a common item for people new to the ssqa.
I’ve done this. All you need to do is chain one side to a tree and cycle your hydraulics tweaking it in the right direction. Definitely doesn’t need to go to a dealer

Man this is my new favorite channel this guy got me LMAO with his admissions of inexperience I'm subscribed , can't not.
Ouch.... Syd , your laugh tells the story..... enuff said !!!!
😂
also I heard "i thought "...
my grandma used to say.." thought thought he farted but he crapped his pants"
🤣🤣🤣🚜
Looks like David from C'mon should have gave you some lessons 😊
I’ve been watching you guys for a long time. All i have to say is y’all bought way to light of a tractor. Kabota is very reliable starting running but very light construction even in the higher horse power . Best of luck every body has growing pains especially with farm equipment.
Way too light of a tractor LOL.
Thats because they bought a tractor for their needs. Use it for its intended usage and you will have no troubles. Thats why they make different size tractors for different jobs. I have the same tractor and never had a problem i think some people are thick.
Kenny has been working out great for us . You’re right . We bought what we needed and what was in budget.
AND MOST WARANTIES WILL NOT COVER FOR THIS DAMAGE, many customers you cant tell them anything, then they are mad when warranty dont cover abuse and they have to put out 8 to 10k for a new pump. the loader arms and hook up on these tractors are junk, they are made so lifht for the high presser they put out, i have seem mant loader arms totally twisted, simply because they are built so light, one should never have to worry what they are lifting, that is what relief valves are for
Never heard of a diesel engine generating its most power at idle. I’ve always heard you should run diesels high rpm
Sorry! I had to give you a thumbs down. Why? Check the other replies. I concur.
@@arnoldromppai5395 Respectfully you are partially right and mostly wrong
Frankie did extremely well with Mike picking pears very smooth with hydraulics 👍
She’s got the touch !
Frankie is my hero!!!
he needs to read the hand book
At least you showed all future Kabota buyers the importance of learning the proper use of their implements! Lol
Love this as I also work for and deliver for Chickasaw in Tupelo.
To manually pull steel fence post try driving them deeper about 2 or 3 inches then use pipe wrench about waist hide pulling straight up. Works well with practice.
Beautiful place looks so peaceful ❤❤❤❤
I am so glad I’m not the only Mike that ain’t doing nothing unless he’s tearing something up...lol as my grandfather used to tell me. Cheers to the Mike’s 👍
😂 👍
My straight up cackle! 😂 🧹 🧙♀️
That hurts my heart.....pour one on the ground for my missing homie. Rub some dirt on it, it'll be OK. Good news is that it's broke in now so you don't have to worry about scratching it.
I managed to roll an LX3310 within the first hour of using it. Over 10K in damage. It has an incline meter, ballasted tires and wheel spacers now.
Yep ! Kenny will live to ride again!
Ohhh awesome comedy!!! You made my morning. Thanks for sharing!
LOVE the honesty
Glad to see that Franky is picking up on the front loader. My wife never figured it out.
She so good at all that stuff !
I liked when he asked her if she read the owners manual and she said yes and then he said that's ridiculous 🙄 had a good chuckle 😆 love it
Mike illustrating how the works bent with his arms helped me to understand why male tyrannosaurus were always frustrated
😂
The laughing that started at 13:56 and the look on his face had me rolling. Keep up the great content guys
Ha ha thank you 🙏
Syd your cackle was priceless! And Frankie is just dodging the barbs from Dad! lol. ❤
Things happen y’all!
Frankie did a good job on it !
Wow I was watching and saying on no. Always be equal on the loader and this why I love the grapple. Also it was great you posted this. it is also why I went much bigger and picked kioti as it was much cheaper.
The Kubota tractor is a hobby farm tractor. With amount land wide open needed big one 4x4,bat wing pasture clipper flex wing disk, get done fast easy tractor 🚜 cab ac and heat ,plus radio.
You killed Kenny............... LMAO !!! J/K. Hey, now are you going to get ahold of Outdoors with the Morgan's???? I told you Mike. 🤣
Never seen that happen before. Didn't know you could do that. I have run a lot of different ones. Don't be hard on yourself.
Thongs happen. A bit of advice as a long time veteran of military equipment i learned to always to a PMCS. (Preventive maintenance checks and services).
😊i grew up in the 60s+ 70s picking pairs, peaches and apples from a homemade man cage on a ford tractor way up here in Mass.
Oops. Hey bubba, you broke your tractor😂. Hey Mike sometimes there are days like this. At least you have a couple more tractors. 👍❤️
True story !
That made me laugh 😂😂 thanks what a great family 👍🏻
Well it happens with lot of seat time you will get better I promise keep up the videos I have a b7500 kubota looking at the lx2610 with cab this go around let me know how you like it
MARK 13:55 That Laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂 cackle 😂
I vote to have Frankie of all the tractors 🚜 she did well.
The dealership guy said the 2501 had a more stout, beefy loader in that older video. Can you swap it out?
I mean the tractor not just the loader attachment. They were different. Maybe for good reason. But insurance replacement is better than nothing.
Things happen.,TY for sharing
When she laughs 😂😂😂when the forks fell off 😂
Just found this channel, what part of Mississippi? I like this channel it shows the good, bad, and ugly.
Northern Mississippi 😀
@@3MISSISSIPPI I am from Greene county Mississippi, though I now live in Indiana.
I am so sorry Mike but oh my goodness love the video’s keep them coming please
I think this Man is tougher than this Tractor. They give him hell and he just rolls with it.
One of the funniest things to happen on youtube in awhile.Long live Miranda .
dont worry atleast yall have tractors that run , i have a 1947 8n ford an 2 international cubs
Kubota, the best tractors going. Now "Mike Proof" on 2023 models lol!
😂
As long as you didnt bend the arms on the loader, it should be as simple as replacing the quick attach, easy job for your dealer.
Get rid of the boy and git you a man that knows what he is doing
I’ve done this. All you need to do is chain one side to a tree and cycle your hydraulics tweaking it in the right direction. Definitely doesn’t need to go to a dealer
If you have access to a welder, and know how to weld, you can cut the sync arm on one side and re sync.
OSHA APPROVED! Gotta love it.
Red is my favorite color
