I have 1 panerai the black 1 and brown strap... Its so beautiful...my friends always asking me how much i dont know because my uncle just gave it to me..❤❤❤❤❤😊
It was in 1997 not 1998 when the brand became part of the Richemont Group (then Vendôme Group). That post-it note does not look it came from Panerai. FYI, only a total of 12 of the 5218-209 models were ever made.
Correct the post-it note came from the original owner of the watch, Dino Zei. On the back of the watch it says the watch was one of 12, plus one for a prototype
