Honestly really like these PVP videos. Just gonna take some time to figure out what charge moves you could take or have to shield. Only been playing for a year and still learning
One thing about GBL. It always seems like you get hard countered no matter what you change your team. I struggle finding a team that covers everything especially since I'm a new player
As a experienced player, some tips. Have your two Pokémon in the back protect your lead mon, that way you can always switch if you lose the lead. (I.e. if you’re leading a fire type, have 2 grass in back to protect the lead from water). Don’t change your team.
Do you use Team Builder in PvPoke? That can help a lot with finding a good team. At the moment I’m using Magcargo, Alomomola & Wigglytuff for Love Cup, they cover almost everything and have been working great for me. Wigglytuff works as a switch, Alomomola works as a switch too unless they have Electrode. For me, even with using PvPoke it can still take some trial and error to find a good team
The Meta Relevant team was actually less meta relevant than the Shiny team, The massive weakness to Talonflame was very scary as it could have Brave Birded and instantly destroyed any of those pokemon
Mystic7 here's the the thing Aridos is usual using Poison Sting Lunge and Cross Poison in PVP and since a few seasons ago poison sting got buffed lunge and cross poison don't take long to get to. Second Talonflame takes 3 Increates to get to the first flame charge and it takes only 2 after that to get to the ones following the first one

Yet they were attacking me just fine… it gets sometimes to where I don’t even want to battle anymore. But I am happy you got that Medi!
GBL is fun as long as u don't take it seriously. Btw that shiny is well deserved not only because of the investment, but because of the team u used (all shiny).

that one battle you lost...the trainer's Talonflame should not have charged up his Charged Move that fast. GBL is still facing the same lag issues. Good thing we can level up after each set of 5 battles. But it doesn't take away the fact that Niantic has still to work on GBL, because it's mad annoying. I lost 2 matches because of the heaviest moments of lag today
rewatched it to confirm your report of it and I think it's his editing that made it seem like it charged up too fast. But it didn't. Looked clean to me with the fast moves. His whole team was weak to ariados/talon core and he got clapped for it. No lag there for mystic, just lack of pvp knowledge

You should do two things:
1. Add more shiny (not from CD) to graveyard
2. More shiny challenges
This is painful to watch when you’re an actual pvper 😭
