Beautiful song! I just learned about Elliott last night when I saw a picture on Facebook of him playing with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Sweden, and I wanted to know more. The location in the video, although I expect it is Paris, looks a lot like one of the alleys in the downtown section of Philadelphia. I am so happy for RUclips so I can delve into Elliott's music some more.
I recently got introduced to Elliott murphy songs and i couldn't stop listening to them. They are so deep i triggered the old strings in my memory i've been through. His songs are enough to pierce ones heart if we feel the lyrics. Loved it.

hi, I was too young. in 73, (13 years old) to get "Aquashow". but somehow, at about 17/18, I managed to get "just a Story from America", and "NIght Lights" , been a fan ever since. Then Mr. Murphy moved away, and us old fans didn't hear a peep from him until RUclips! He moved to France! who knew!? anyway, I think this is his BEST song, since the classic "Annastasia". Long may you sing, Mr. Murphy, even if you did leave us high and dry, here in the West.

We saw him three times in Toronto in the 1970's! Also, he has a great sense of humour----ie "Now I'm going to do a medley of my hit." Anyway, he has many, many hits now!

He just played in Filipstad, a small town of 8000 in the middel of Sweden. First time in Seden too!! I'm told the concert was superb.
