@@MyNigerianFolktales Yes. The first version was the one I read in "Tales my Grandmother told me" many years ago. I can't remember what ethnic group it comes from. That one had witch doctors and sorcerers to help with the girl's transformation back into human. The second version I saw was a movie with the Idoma version. The girl was called Inale. Then my mom has also told me the Urhobo version. I've forgotten the girl's name here.

I smiled so hard to myself..This folktale was actually my life lived...except I could not banish the person. She has lived her entire life attempting to be me. I never knew she had so much hatred until I had a Yorubian reading over my life. I quietly moved out of her life and stopped all means of communication with her. Who knew she was so full mistrust and trifling mannerisms. Thank you for a awesome folklore.
