The trio has been singing together since they were kids. Mitch and Scott have known each other in school theater since they were 8 years old. People that sing together a lot listen to the other voices and blend their style with the others. They start learning to anticipate each other. Nice review. - Bill

Insanely talented . No instrument but , Kevin the beatboxer sometimes plays the cello and beatboxer . Pentaholic for life .
Yeah, this is live. All their sit-down couch performances are live, so all the Evolutions you watched are live. Scott, Mitch and Kirstin grew up together and have been singing together from a very young age, so they are very comfortable with that. And definitely practice, lots of it I'm sure. They just fit. One of the great things about PTX is their precision. Like, even on single syllable rhythm sounds, like "bum" or "do" they do it so perfectly at the same time it sounds like one voice singing a chord. Such a treat for the ears. I like that you were picking up and commenting on that here.
They each have their own ways of counting. You can see it. I love how Scott can’t help but sing with his hands, check out “Say something” Scott’s knuckles are white from gripping the chair in front of him, because it was supposed to appear like a photograph.

I rock their Christmas stuff, all year round. Try it! I promise....you won't be disappointed!! :)
They have said before that by the time they have finished their arrangements they have pretty much memorized their parts. They keep going over and over them to get each section arranged the way they like them.

For a person who's really good at harmonizing, you actually don't have to tell the person what your gonna do next, you just like have to make sure the note is spot on identical to everyone else so no one else gets confused and messes up. And I'm sure they explained everything to each other anyways in the beginning and I'm sure they messed up a lot because...practice makes perfect right? ;)
