Xuv300 really need a update. They already have good engine, now add good tourque converter automatic gearbox, some features and make it good looking. This has the potential to become a market leader.
Before update, first then them give proper reliable cars. This fellow already had Link road changed in 1st service, catalytic converter changed within 1yr.. what new issues will come don't know.. car's resale is gone completely.. and also you will lose peace of mind if they change major parts in your just new 1yr aged car..
This user is justifying his blunder. But U use ur brain to make proper choice.

@@nikhilvijay6022 Link road issue is common in all Mahindra XUV300.. but newly catalytic converter issue also came.. other Mahindra cars also have major issues.. check the "front right side wheel coming out" issue in Scorpio-N while driving.. in this video, Ravi sir himself was doubtful about the service & experience of Mahindra.. U think urself, will U accept if major parts are changed in new car within 1yr? Owner himself said about the issues..

New models do have some issues but as time goes by, Mahindra does resolve them.

@@mageshmac4716 you seem like a Mahindra hater person. Issue are there in all brands nowadays. Every new launch model have some issues which brand come to know after the sales. Point is how the brand address those issues. This owner had issues but it got resolved by brand timely and perfectly.
And, no this won't affect the resale value of car at all. This are not accidental or engine issues.
Customer will lose peace of mind only when they are unable to solve the issue. This is okay. Owner is also happy with product overall.
Don't try to create panic amongst the customers. If people stop buying cars due to issues then German brands will go out of business. Stop being pessimistic.
Agar budget kam ho toh I think nexon best hai kyunki xuv ke lower variants me kuch bhi nhi milta hai wahi nexon ke smart plus me apko basic cheezein saari mil jati hai with all led lights and drl and no doubt xuv engine is way better than nexon

Xuv300 may be awsome considering its performance but the reason people go for Nexon is the looks which attracts masses in Bhaarath,

Looks are subjective, I like the looks of XUV 300 over Nexon. Nexon doesn't even look like an SUV, just a raised hatchback, just like maruti fronx.

I have an XUV 300 old version purchased 1.5 yrs ago. Surprisingly, it turned out much better than my expectations. After driving Honda City for 12 years, I was expecting this to be like a truck... TATA Punch gave me that feel. The way it rattled on starting the engine. XUV 300, in contrast, came out much better...almost like Honda City... the nagging issue is only with boot door sensor.... I purchased it from India Garage....very professional team here in Bangalore

Nobody can talk negative about this car if they ever drove it, specially the diesel variant. I can count on this car anytime. I own nexon as well but trust me nexon stands nowhere in front of this car in terms of driving experience and stability. Nexon being high in ground clearance has way more body roll compared to XUV 300. This is definitely a no nonsense car, trust me if you are looking for a refined engine and a good driving experience then go for it without even a single thought. Features becomes outdated after sometime but engine will remain the key for any car. Jab chalane mai hi maza nai aayga to features ko rakh kr chatengey kya😂

Using it for last 1 year, best in driving dynamics. Interior is bit old-school but i love it because i am old school too. My concern is more around the engine, driving and ride quality, maintenance, build quality and xuv300 shines in all these. I live in hills, so driving mechanics, turning and power train is superb. I love it.
Anyday Taigun/Kushaq is way better. You cannot compare mid size SUV to sub 4 metre SUV.

Facelift is given for a reason, in TGDI version they have given all black theme. Screen is small though. For car driving enthusiasts these things are nothing for the pleasure of sheer performance.

Cruise between 80 to 90 kmph on highway it will give you 19 to 20 kmpl definitely. Maine khud ye mileage nikala hai. Tank to tank aur mid me bhi koi difference nahi hai. sometimes it feels like all the automobile journalists are delusional.. In India hardly 8-10 percent of people look for performance cars and mostly look for good mileage and slightly decent power to tackle bad roads( if they want to go fast they can do that in any car, they'll just just take 5-6 seconds extra to reach that speed)
Indian consumers are already compromising with mileage as they are going for safer vehicles but also going for performance oriented cars with heavy build quality.. how will they afford?

Just yesterday, our Xuv 300 skidded on snow and hit a Toyota Etios, only bonnet of our was bent, just a little bit, only needs dry denting but, etios was majorly damaged from the back, backlight was gone, bumper, and boot went inside and couldn't be closed. Xuv 300 is really a tank
I myself got my XUV hit at the back bumper in a curvy mountain road, nothing just some thread marks over the plastic bumper, its really a small tank.

Within 1 month, car Link road got changed which is known issue to everyone. Catalytic convertor got issue within 1yr. Already resale value is gone bcoz of major changes visible in service history. How many more issues are you going to face in next 2-3yrs after paying 15Lakhs ? These issues may come only after 5yrs or 10yrs in car.. Mahindra is not reliable. Save urself.
The vehicle is overall best in the segment, but the only issue is overpricing 😢

It's not like you always need a punch from car. People want punch from the car when they need it for a short duration. Nobody will always drive fast and do rash driving.
Point is, car should be capable enough to provide the punch when the need arises on road. You don't need punch during 100% of your drive.
I mostly drive lightfooted but when I'm in hurry or when I want little bit fun, I use the punch my car has. Understand the difference.
Because with heavy foot you will crash the car😅

Mahindra cars are outdated now and they need to be back in competition quickly. 14-15 lakhs is a huge sum of money just to pay for a good engine. A 15 lakhs car should be an overall package. That’s why Nexon and punch sales are sky high after the facelift.

And he uses light foot while driving which requires no driving dynamics.. for his real usage style he could have got Grand Vitara which is 3* or 4*

7 to 8 times visit to service station in initial 1000KM!! And still claiming the product is good, can be...but where is the quality?
Keeping aside build quality, for brand like Suzuki even within 1lacs kilometres apart from regular service and parts changes, you don't have to visit service station for manufacturing defects. That's peace of mind for you!! This is the area both Mahindra and Tata needs to catch up with other brands like Suzuki or Toyota for example.

The dealerships of mahindra are very arrogant.... They are basically lala type business who feel that they are doing customers favour by seeling car... Last year booked xuv 300, waited for 3 months.... Canclled it thereafter as the dealership kept extending date of delivery.... They charged cancellation amount of 1100 as well.... No doubt xuv 300 is best in the segment.... But just because of unprofessional attitude of mahindra dealerships it has not generated sales figures like brezza or nexon

Don't thank God so soon. within 6months or 1yr U will get new major issue in car. That is how Mahindra cars perform.. they are money making machine for the service teams.. also be careful if wheel comes out in middle journey like it happened in Scorpio-N..

@@DDSravi Citroen has to increase showroom & service points.. but their cars are better & reliable. Here in Southern states, many C3 cars are there on road sir.
For 14Lakhs this XUV300 car is not good choice; Bolero Neo was better option overall(excluding gncap rating) for user requirement.
