can we say soup and smoothies are drinks that are food? because i feel like you would never have a drink/beverage just to fill you up but like soup and smoothies can fill you up like foods do? I dont agree with the sauce part cause the bread you use to clear up the soup isnt the main bit unlike with sauces which are generally extra

Food is essentialy a source of carb and/or vitamins it doesn't matter whether it's solid or liquid
Liquid food IS A TERM
You call water a drink because there aren't any carbs but you do get minerals
Whether water is food (liquid) or not would have been a logical debate.
Also if you don't think I am right search for Foods that are a source of Protein and you WOULD find Milk in it ( hence food) .
