The Fountain soundtrack is one of the most beautiful piece of music ever recorded. Beautiful and insanly sad.
Clint Mansell is so humble and appears so approachable, despite the fact that he is so monumentally talented. It was a real pleasure to listen to him talk about pop music for a few minutes. His scores are essentially the soundtrack of my life, but I've really connected with his work since PWEI.

Mansell's The Fountain OST has to be one of the most haunting pieces of music. Highly recommended to post-doom/post- ABM fans.

I had no idea Clint did the score on the Fountain. Holy shit, that's one of my favorite movies right there, and the music has a lot to do about that. Nice!

My Introduction to Clint was P.W.E.I performing “Def Con One” on channel 4’s Club X. I went straight out and bought it, still works today, a great mash up of Twilight zone, The Stooges, and The Osmonds, and even The Banshees if I remember. There’s a story I read that he gave Nick Cave a scar on his forehead for calling him a “F**king Limey” true or not I’ve spotted a scar on Nick Caves head in Photos over the years and wondered...
I would kill for a proper pwei reunion and world tour. It's not the same without clint!

Clint using English when he means British. Alan Grant writer of Judge Dredd was Scottish, infact a lot of 2000AD were Scottish. Fuckin annoying when English people do that.

Clint, Clint, Clint....I have loved your music since the Poppies but half of the staff of 2000AD were Scottish not English. What a shame you chose to perpetuate the lie that everyone on these islands is English.
Either this is bizarrely edited or Clint is having some kind of mental breakdown at the end when he picks French, Swedish and German films and Charlie Chaplin and says they're "all made by immigrants who came here (to America)".
