My favorite part about the score to this movie is the way that each track evolves into the next. If you haven't please listen to the entire album inn order sometime. It feels like I was included on a secret no one else gets to know.

I don't think Mr Mansell himself realises what a masterpiece this soundtrack is. It goes far beyond the movie, completely standing on its own. There are not many soundtracks that have touched people on such a fundamental level. If any.

Her chin arcs upward, her hair falls and flies around her like a nimbus, a halo, she is sacred, she is an archetype. She is every song ever sung, every sunset and dawn, eternal complete and perfect
I wrote a eulogy for a relative while listening to this soundtrack, there was not a dry eye at the funeral as it was read out.
The Fountain is a underrated movie, one of my favorite. It's beautiful, meaningful and magical. The music contributes tremendously and I am still listening to it after all these years.
