24th January 1972
The second half of this show was not recorded due to user error on part of the taper. Nonetheless, many thanks to the taper for recording it.
This is notable as it has both a live performance of After Forever (not commonly played) but also a pre-Vol. 4 rendition of Tomorrow's Dream with different lyrics.
I have done extensive EQing on this show. It was not even remotely listenable when I started. Seemingly all bass and nothing else.
Setlist:
0:00 After Forever
4:18 Tomorrow's Dream (Alternate Lyrics)
8:03 War Pigs
16:09 Sweet Leaf
21:53 Iron Man
According to setlist fm they played Into The Void in between Sweet Leaf and Iron Man which of course isn’t the case here. Damn shame because I wish there were more live recordings of it
This is the recording I made that evening! I can tell from the talking just before 'Sweetleaf' - it's my mate Simon, who is also to be heard at the beginning of ruclips.net/video/zoNsa0Io_Mg/видео.html It was the day after my 18th birthday, doesn't time fly. Gigs were rather cheaper then; this one cost me 80p (the equivalent of four pints of lager!) Well done for improving the sound quality so much. See also ruclips.net/video/eZOCAaJcnOs/видео.html - probably another one of mine!
Very good th to upload this!
After forever without the guitar solo's.

Amazing, Wheres the rest??
The remainder was either not recorded or is not in public circulation. Sorry! Just as a disclaimer, I don't upload partial recordings unless that's all there is. Maybe I might upload highlights here and there, but usually those would be accompanied by the full recording. Everything I have, you will receive!
@@hdblacksabbath4271 I read the encore was Sabbath Bloody Sabbath thats why im hot to find it lol. Awesome work!!!
@@jarrodhoule8134 Impossible for SBS to have been an encore song at a gig in January 1972, considering they wrote the songs for that record in September of 1973.. and sabbath bloody sabbath was the first great riff Tony came up with after months of writer's block.
I don't recall what went wrong - it's indeed sad that I didn't get the rest of it. Mind you, it ain't easy when you're up and boogie-ing with a cassette recorder hanging around your neck! The whole gig was awe-inspiring, especially 'Children Of The Grave'.
