That red is harsh
I have a JFA referee licence and that is certainly not a red card. Yellow for sure, but not a straight red.
Nice to see the turnout in Halifax.
These are the only two teams with actually decent names in the whole division
That was a lazy red by the HFX player--If I was his coach I would read him the riot act
I think that the CPL counter showing the team names, score and clock also should show the red card that Halifax has.. I dunno why it would not have that as a feature for viewers to know that Halifax is down a player instead of the viewer who may be tuning in late finding out from trying to count the players on the field lol.
It's supposed to. I've seen it in other matches; so that was an error in the tech booth on their part, not a design flaw.
halifax had such a competitive team last year but looks like its going backward to other yuk teams we have had. 0-3 is terrible
Get VAR. NO WAY that is a straight red
Two things!
1. This league needs VAR and refs need to be held accountable for their mistakes. Never a red.
2. Fillion is terrible, how many mistakes can he make for them to try someone new.
3. The names of most of the teams in this league are awful. Ottawa and HFX are fine but valour, forge. Why call them that

That red is the worst faith interpretation of that rule. Side on, studs aren’t out, and is pulling his leg back. Ref wanted to be the centre of the show and ruined a competitive match.

The best fans in the league deserve better. Red card was not warranted.
