i live in far north Queensland. Most people seem to be against the voice, but they are all scared to admit it publicly. We have aboriginal teenagers eying our property , speaking loudly about how it's their land, and we are concerned for our safety. I'm not the only person wondering about this.

Last Friday 6 October 2023, A guy Joe rang up 3AW on Tom Elliott’s show, telling Tom he had been to vote at Epping Polling Voting Centre, he did mention I believe which one, Tom would know or on the Podcast. This guy Joe said he was in the Voting Centre went up to the lady who was number 2, gave his name etc, she then handed Joe the Voting Form, said to him you write or put in the Yes in that Box. How is that, she should be sacked, had no right telling him how to vote, so how many other people is she doing this too?? Joe said on radio he did Vote No, so well done to him. In addition to Land Councils, aboriginals can apply for reduced cost education, reduced cost housing, reduced cost pharmaceuticals, with most other items and services also at reduced cost. Most, if not all, States and Territories have political Ministers for Aboriginal Affairs with full departments and staff looking into aboriginal benefits. The Commonwealth Government has hundreds of staff working for the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Commonwealth Government documents state that around $40 billion is spent on aboriginal affairs per the financial year. These statements are not racist, they are facts. Aboriginal people say they love the land and that white Europeans invaded their land and controlled the native peoples. During WW2 over a million white Europeans joined the military and fought and died for the freedom of this land. Only 3,000 aboriginal people joined the fight against the invading Japanese army. 3,000 aboriginal people is not a good representation of people who claim they love their people and land. In fact, is seems that white Europeans love this land so much they were prepared to lose their lives in the millions to protect it. These statements are not racist, they are facts. In 2021 3.8% of Australia’s population is aboriginal - or indigenous, if you prefer that term. Why is the Commonwealth Government spending millions and millions of taxpayers funds on this referendum on such a small minority group who really have little interest in fighting for this land and keeping it free? Aboriginal people are part of the Australian population - they are not below in status or above in superiority.

We have national apology day, national close the gap day, national sorry day, national reconciliation week, mabo day, naidoc week, etc. Plus there's acknowledgement to country and welcome to country. The AEC is supposed to be beyond any suspicion of bias. Allowing two methods of voting Yes, but only one of voting No is outrageous.

i live in far north Queensland. Most people seem to be against the voice, but they are all scared to admit it publicly. We have aboriginal teenagers eying our property , speaking loudly about how it's their land, and we are concerned for our safety. I'm not the only person wondering about this.

How is that, she should be sacked, had no right telling him how to vote, so how many other people is she doing this too??

We also know that the rates of domestic and family violence and criminal incarceration is higher in aboriginals that non-aboriginals. These statements are not racist, they are statistical facts.
In addition to Land Councils, aboriginals can apply for reduced cost education, reduced cost housing, reduced cost pharmaceuticals, with most other items and services also at reduced cost.
Most, if not all, States and Territories have political Ministers for Aboriginal Affairs with full departments and staff looking into aboriginal benefits. The Commonwealth Government has hundreds of staff working for the Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Commonwealth Government documents state that around $40 billion is spent on aboriginal affairs per the financial year. These statements are not racist, they are facts.
Aboriginal people say they love the land and that white Europeans invaded their land and controlled the native peoples. During WW2 over a million white Europeans joined the military and fought and died for the freedom of this land. Only 3,000 aboriginal people joined the fight against the invading Japanese army. 3,000 aboriginal people is not a good representation of people who claim they love their people and land. In fact, is seems that white Europeans love this land so much they were prepared to lose their lives in the millions to protect it. These statements are not racist, they are facts.
In 2021 3.8% of Australia’s population is aboriginal - or indigenous, if you prefer that term.
Why is the Commonwealth Government spending millions and millions of taxpayers funds on this referendum on such a small minority group who really have little interest in fighting for this land and keeping it free? Aboriginal people are part of the Australian population - they are not below in status or above in superiority.
