Change the coding of a variable using 'Recode into same variable' in SPSS

Change the coding of a categorical variable using SPSS. This technique will replace the current variable rather than create a new one.
This is useful when you want to reverse the coding of a variable. For example, if you have a likert scale question from a questionnaire coded 1(strongly agree)-5(strongly disagree) and you need to change it to 5(strongly agree)-1(strongly disagree).
