Where can I find the adaptor mentioned at 0:54?? I have been looking everywhere without luck. I found some SDS-plus adaptors but I am starting to think that my makita hammer drill DHR171 is less powerful than my regular screwdriver DHP458... Can some of you concur?
I just want the augers and chuck attachment. I have an old mikita hammer drill this would be great in also I would love to try it in a cordless 18v for ice fishing. All if the price is right.
"Equipped with 2 6.0ah batteries it can drill approx 155 holes with a 150mm earth auger" No. No it can't. Not unless those holes are 10cm deep and into sand. Fitted with a 40mm earth auger it managed 14 holes 800mm deep in clay.
lololol yall wayyyyyy behind. i been using my flexvolt holehog to dig post holes for a while now. and its wayyyyy higher in torque and come with E-Clutch so it wont throw you if it binds up
I have the Makita battery powered demo hammer that is SDS MAX, XRH07Z I believe.. I have been looking for an adapter from SDS MAX to 1/2drill bit, because I have a 1/2drill bit sized auger that fits in my drill. But I want to put it in my Demo Hammer. Is this a similar situation to yours and if so , what product do you use?

Those are 40-46 amps, not 6. 6 Ah is a partial value for capacity, from W hour /18V. We have 20-23 A from a 18650 tool cell, and there are 2 layer of them in paralel, 2 x 5 cells, so 40 A to 46 max. And this 36V tool has ul to 36V x 40-46A, so up to 1440- 1656W.
@@AM-wi6zo not broken. It’s real simple. If u use it in soil like he is or sandy soil ya it works pretty decent. But come around my area where we have roots 90% of the time where u need a hole and that piece of shit will not eat thru roots at all!!
Why has it got a chuck rather than a direct receiver
Because it's a repurposed hole hog
Why an old style chuck? They are notorious for being sub par! This needs a splined connection or hex axle lock like a rotohammer.
Because it's basicaly a DDA460, an angle drill for big jobs
In the US I've been sending this XAD03 as an ice auger
You could chuck a cement mixing paddle in there too!
Nice idea but either the video was speeded up or the rpm is miles to fast. What a shame
The ground looks very soft I'm a fencer and that's not the reality
Yeah there is no replacement for a post hole digger.
Of course. Always an issue but it's a money maker for me in Sandy loam. I can also auger holes for landscaping with plants. Tons of uses for me.

Hi There, accessories for the machine can be seen here: makitauk.com/product/ddg460t2x7
Can this remove small stumps ? Maybe 12" diameter stumps and smaller using several positions ?
When we can buy it, and for which price?
The single Machine, and the 3 Drillsizes?

I found mine on eBay and I use my 18v hammer drill with them. I'm in the states though.
Hi Joshua, you can purchase accessories separately, they can be seen here: makitauk.com/products/accessories-for-ddg460
I like the stabilizing bar against your body. But not nearly enough torque to be called an earth auger. Might be good enough for ice
Yes. Needs a little More power. A powerful drill could do the same 😅
Sounds like it needs more torque and hp
Nope
XGT 40v x2 coming soon
Will it come to the uk
What happened to makita 14.4v lXT
it's outdated
18v sub compact.
How much?

This electric motor not too strong: 2:06 and 2:44
Sadly :(
Try one out hands on. You'll be surprised. I was.

Just watch the video at the right moments, a machine has stoped...
Thats anti kick system, just like a drill
That is awesome

I bought a sds adapter and use my sds hammer drill to do the same thing

Hola, que toqué tiene, de cuando es? Gracias
I guess I could use my DDA460...? Just have to machine a longuer hand
Sorry, the only thing that's good for. Is mixing mortar mix and plaster. You can't beat petrol or diggers or correct machinery for the job.
flexvolt holehog will do it. i have one i used to fencing. 114 ft/lbs of torque. equal to a 2man gas auger
@@mattrumbattrum9952 what size auger do you use on the flex volt?
@@thomasarellano4721 8" 2feet down ez
Ignorance is bliss. Tons of torque.
I won't be any good for hard pan. Even heavy duty gas powered struggle on hard pan. It's like trying to drill through rock
Yeah had plenty of struggles with the hard stuff. This wouldn’t handle it at all.
get a flexvolt holehog and it will go through anything has 114 ft/lbs of torque and has E-Clutch that stops rotation if it starts to throw you
@@mattrumbattrum9952 cool. Thanks for the tip👍
Obviously. Otherwise it's a moneymaker.
