I work on an organic farm in N Dakota. They got about 10 ft of snow this year, so we were late planting our crop. We will start harvesting our Blue corn in October. I'm retired and live in Florida. I fly out and help with planting and cultivating. Then back out for the harvesting. I have 2 sons living in Alabama. Happy harvesting.

Those are some good yields on wide rows im on wide rows myself here in south Carolina first year farming my dads 2 first cousins farmed they retired last i was able to take the farm on im 34 i wonder what the difference between 30 inch corn and 38s we were on wide rows for peanuts i didnt plant them this year just grain for my first

Here in Iowa, we combine corn, pick corn, shell corn and we used to shuck corn. If we cut corn that would probably be silage. LOL!

Why do you cut your corn with such high moisture? Would it not be less of a headache to let it dry down to 16 percent or so?

They have a grain drier if corn would shell at 40% they'd be combining at 40% moisture instead of 23%
Little T will be a lot of help on the farm in a few years. And he has a good arm that should take him far in baseball.

Our river screens use water to turn them they have a row of tips on the outside that spray to clean and also spin it
