I saw these guys in Houston Texas for the Transcendence tour, My girlfriend and I were Xing and the concert was kickass, I wish I would have been straight for the show, I remember the guy guitarist on our left was totally pissed after the show because the crowd wasn't rowdy enough for him, I guess the whole crowd was on the same drugs I was!!!!

@skysoalive Lost Horizon played Red Sharks as an encore when I saw them play live in Stockholm 2003. They were great and you're right about Heiman, he blew me away.

It's a very very different rasp to Rob Halford (I know because the rasp I do happens to sound like Midnight.) Most metal singers use same vocal distortion - that comes from chest. But the one I do (That is very similar in tone and quality as midnight) is a falsetto. It would almost impossable to tell u how to get the sound. But hope this helps... Firstly u need to be able to use your faulsetto And when doing it think that your voice comes to a point and rockets to roof of mouth

Awesome band. Bought the Transcendance cd back when released in '88/89 after a review in Metal Forces, they gave it 10/10 if I recall. Midnight's voice always amazed me. A great talent and a great loss.
pretty amazing for live. Wish the drums were louder, but wishes were horses on recordings like this, just lucky to have them regardless of sound quality. Makes me think of that Savatage live performance of "Unholy", bad quality, breath-taking badass performance. Pretty funny that spinal tap like seque around 4:14 where there is too much fog machine smoke. Someone got a little smoke happy.
This is in my top10 of best metal songs ever. I buyed those LP's before 90 and i still love them. RIP We are talking for almost 30 years before. Still noone like Midnight... :(
