I can't wait till Bandai gives the same paint finish to the previous Iron man armors. Prior to the Assemble Edition Mk6 and 7, they've always had non accurate paint, more prominently with the gold, they were always more on the yellow-mustard side. Beautiful figure, can't wait to get mine!

The battle damage that is offered on the figure is basically identical to the battle damage at the end of Iron Man 2. So, looking at that scene...they could have given us a replacement left shoulder armor and left shoulder flaps with battle damage to make it completely accurate. But, I get it, the effect pieces are basically all new, so I imagine it wasn't included to keep it in production budget.
I have the first version and It's one of my favorite Iron Man suits...your review is making me heavily consider the upgrade. Thank you!

The matte finish on the Iron Man Mk 6 armor looks good! But, SH Figuarts needs to include a display base and a flight pole. They would just blow away all the other competitors at this price.

I don’t mean to sound rude or anything, but this video makes me feel like you go a bit soft on Hot Toys sometimes, just sometimes. This figure only comes with 2 battle damaged parts, just like the hot toys diecast mark 6 (literally the exact same parts ironically enough) and you mentioned it as a problem like 4 or 5 times in this video, yet you seemed fine with only 2 damaged parts for the hot toy. Only 2 BD parts shouldn’t be considered an issue on an 80$ figure when it’s completely fine for a 300$ figure. Still solid review though.
Except this cannot compare to the insane engineering of a Diecast Hot Toys figure. Multiple heads, light up display base, Tony Stark face which is dead on, LED lights etc. This is literally a “battle damaged edition” that’s why I complained

My problem is the swappable arm guards one on the right-side of mine missing half piece and its annoys me too much. Now i must find it or i will find custom maker to apply all of changeable hands so no more swapping methods 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

It looks pretty awesome but they look like they went through to make it look like it was Battle damage from Iron Man 2 I wish they made additional accessories to this figure like have like a battle damage arm where Thor is crushing his arm a battle damaged headpiece with he has a big ding on his faceplate and my personal favorite he should have been like fully battle damaged when he was trying to push the turbine on the Helicarrier while Steve Rogers Captain America is dealing with the mind-controlled Shield operatives.

Bandai colour scheme look different from Hot Toys and Comic Cave. Seem a bit darker red compare to them. Again I want to know whether there is any diecast part being used. At the moment, I am committed to Comic Cave mainly due to their selling point of 75% diecast being used. Articulation wise Comic Cave are not good as Hot Toys.

This one has much better accessories, and the same beautiful paint finish. I'd say for price and availability this is the one to get.
Just design wise I like the 7 more, but in figure form I believe Bandai did a better job on the Mk6. I've owned the original Mk 6 and 7 from Bandai, as well as the Assemble edition Mk7. My honest review would say go for this Mk6
@@Zapdos97 I think I agree with you from what I've seen. I'm mainly going for a definitive Iron Man look, hence why I'm torn and getting just one of the two if that makes sense

As someone who has owned both a mark 6 and mark 7, this figure is probably better than the 7 objectively but not by much, so it’ll depend on just which armor you prefer. You can’t go wrong with either of them.
Sculpt wise and paint wise, Mark 7 is better. The mark 6 sculpt isn’t that accurate in some areas and the paint isn’t as good either. And the mark 6 has better articulation in many areas, and it has more accessories obviously. But even then, they’re both amazing figures.

I had the original SH figuarts mark 6 way back in 2013 and I had him in flight pose untouched since 2020. When I took him down the legs just fell off bc the knee joint ripped like paper. I checked the back of the knees on this video and they have not changed them. I figure I let you know.

Wrong. Bandai released 3 mark 6 figures. First one in 2012 or 2013, second one in 2017, and the the third one in 2021 which is this one. This one is an exact repaint of the 2017 figure which I used to own, and I can confirm they did change them. It looks the same, but the old joint ripped on the 2012-2013 figure because it was made of clear plastic painted silver. The ones from 2017-2021 aren’t built like that
