His father left us when I was pregnant and later I was lucky to meet a very generous man who would help me raise my son. I strongly think that my son's chart mirrors this path.

@@DevAstrology9 That is very normal. New People when learning astrology have only one chart stuck in their minds - Their own. Its is the first cosmic encoded puzzle they have to solve. After it is solved suppose approx 55% then only they start to understand the underlying esoteric meaning of Jyotish Shastra. This was my journey till now learning this vast subject. It can also be a case only applicable to me cause my 8th lord is in 9th (Scorpio Lagna) with sun and combust saturn so I crave new knowledge it's a high for me to know the things I don't know and then to know I know nothing. Though I'm still 19 we'll see what sanchit karma throws at me. Never the less keep the exploratory parts for students like us 🙏🏻❤
@ My chart is different than yours, I was explaining how yours would be 8th in 8th. That is if your Mercury is in the 8th house for you. That is not my chart placement, in my chart my 8th lord Mercury is in the 10th house. I have mercury, sun and Ketu in 10th. Venus is in the 8th and that is my 7th and 12th lord.

This is not crazy at all. I live in India, my boss is in Ontario, Canada! And this has brought growth to me! Also since my 12th Lord Saturn is in 1st house, foreign opportunities come to me easily
If you look at John F. Kennedy's (former American President) chart, he has lagna (Mercury) conjunct 8th lord Mars in 8th house itself. Mars, being planet of courage, sitting in house of crisis, was a core theme in his life and led him to emerge victorious on several war fronts. But 8th lord in 8th did not protect his life and he was assassinated at 46. On the other hand, Maya Angelou has lagna (Sun) sitting in 8th conjunct Jupiter. While Jupiter is in own house in rashi chart, it is debilitated in Navamsha. She lived very long and died at 86. 1-to-8 or 8-to-1 connection, longevity can be hard to predict anyway.
Also, the more I think about it, the only way to reconcile this is that in some texts, Jupiter and Venus are considered to be the only real benefics. And as you've said, Jupiter is the only planet that can sustain 8th house, that could very well explain the difference.

@@manasakb9382 I think this placement will play out different for everybody because everyone has an unique chart and very different from everyone else, also the aspects will be different in every chart that's why this placement will be good for some and bad for others. My life hasn't been a bed of roses lol, nobody's life is, but we need to look at the positive side and accept the negatives in our life and not get disappointed, life is all about ups and downs and this is the beauty of it.
