- Singer KK died hours after a concert in Kolkata today. His official Instagram page has visuals of a concert in a Kolkata auditorium held some 10 hours ago.
The 53-year-old singer collapsed at the hotel where he was staying after the concert in Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha auditorium. Doctor at CMRI hospital said the singer was brought dead.

Lobby prevailed earlier now since early 90's it went out of control.
Even the legendary iconic music composer SD Burmanda beautiful songs n music for Guide not got an film fare award instead they gave it to film Suraj instead.
That was my childhood memories.
RD burman's many earlier film also faced the same fate.
Burmanda got so upset.
This loss feels so personal. Our childhood is just gone now. The void that KK has left will never be filled. Earlier I used to smile while listening his songs,bt now I'll just cry bcz it will remind me of our huge loss!

@@ghantaamotivation5056 It is not misuse. Governments can decide whether a person is worthy of a gun salute. Lata Mangeshkar, S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, Pt. Jasraj, Shashi Kapoor, all were honoured with gun salute. A person who has contributed in politics, law, science, arts can be given gun salute.

My eldest sister passed away 21 years ago and she used to admire KK a lot,especially Pal was her favourite song.Alas! Now both the fan and the artiste said goodbye :'(

Am from south … and his songs during 90s in telugu were the best memories we have … he is legend singer in every language he sang.. Few songs like Ye mera jahan from Khushi telugu and Feel my love from Arya are his best ones .. He always maintained low profile even though he is as great as hariharan or Shankar mahadevan

Post the concert, we were at late Purno Sangma's residence for an authentic dinner, all of us together..
Kk enjoyed the local music too, the ethnic drink of Garo hills ,
It was an evening, a concert in Tura, Garo Hills, Meghalaya, to be remembered always with KK..
You n your memories n music will live in me,
Genuine humans are always shortlived..
