Hey! Guess what. You're Awesome and thanks for watching. I promise this is the best DND tutorial based on a 30 year old Jeff Foxworthy joke you'll ever see. Stick around for more and vote in the comments for which subclass you'd like to next.
Honestly I just made this video to listen to the X-Men theme again...

The brand of axiom is one of the only ways you can stop a level 20 moon druid from repeatedly wild shaping. Amplify blood curse of the anxious and they make the save with disadvantage
Sounds good, but brand of axiom requieres a wis saving throw, and well we both know that a lv20 druid will probably success
Average save for a leval 20 druis wis save with max wis 22 the dc of a blood hutner save is woth max wis or int 21 with mutaction the increas wiz meaning theres a good chance that a druid dose fail
Imagine a simic hybrid who craft additional mutations for themselves.
Crazy
Thats one of my characters concepts i want to play
Barbarian: “don’t go in there, it’s dangerous!”
Mutant blodhunter: “I am the danger”
6 levels of beast barbarian with X levels of mutant bloodhunter makes for an amazing super mutant character and since blood maledicts and crimson rite aren't spells per se it's a fun option to break out unexpectedly while raging.
Right after I hear "Sugar... spice... and everything nice" I look over just in time to see a Sour Patch Kids Trident gum ad start. Thank you for the comedic timing, youtube.
I will always have a soft spot for Mutant Bloodhunter,it is the class that introduced me to the Game as a whole and i will always remember the reactions from my party when i (a Level 14 Satyr Mutant) introduced myself to everyone by clutching a Death Card gone horribly wrong with two whips and blood magic.i ended up fitting in with the group like a missing puzzle piece and weve finished 3 campaigns since.
"use an action to flush them from your system."
Hold on guys, I have to flush these drugs....
Promptly 💩's a radioactive fuel rod on the floor.
Now we can leave.
I once got superpowers from a rancid slurpie as a teenager - at least _I thought I had superpowers,_ but it didn't feel that way once I came down/sobered up......
And I felt it the next day.
Mutant blood hunter/alchemist artificer multiclass is almost broken😂😂😂😂. Had an NPC that was that combination. The way she was rolled…. Everyone was glad she was one of the good guys😂
Hey i've actually been thinking of trying this multiclass out, but I didn't really see why it was so good. If you can could you explain why it was such a good multiclass and their exact level spread. Thank you if you can
@@hunterhackert5250 Some of it was the characters stat rolls. But at the time of this writing, Tovi, is a lvl 10 Fallen Assimar (5)alchemist/(5)mutant blood hunter. What makes her so good is she can tank damage as well as take a ranged or martial attack while still casting a spell. It’s also thematic…. A mutant blood hunter who poisons themselves but brew a potion daily that has a random effect including a potential healing potion.
The multi-class going either way is going to be a trade-off depending on what you intend to play. Tovi is an alchemist at heart so as an NPC I’m stopping her blood hunter progression to lvl 5 for the second attack action per turn and as the campaign progresses I will push alchemist since she is a utility NPC. But I could go the other direction and she can tank damage as well as deal it out. So it comes down to choice and how you want to play other multiclass.
Yeah I’ve always loved the concept of a potion brewer, but not necessarily a super nice one. Thank you for the explanation and happy adventuring
Genuinely my favorite of the Blood Hunters, it ramps up slowly like most martials, but once you get going ohhhh boy do shine.
So you mean I can pack on my jet and buff out and just beat people to death with sheer knowledge? Let's go! For real, I love your videos.
3 level dip in battle smith combos AMAZINGLY with the sagacity mutagen. Loads of fun
Can’t believe a class created by such an unheard of nobody caught on like this 😂
If there was not an X-Men reference i would've unsubbed.
Good man
As a Pole, I feel proud that there is a literal witcher in D&D
I love this channel cuz it breaks down subclasses and races in a very understandable way. That and maybe in the future, there might be a DM series from this channel called You Might Be a Monster discussing how certain monsters act, think, eat, sleep, hunt, repeat and other stuff...but that may or not happen in future who knows.
In the meantime keep up the good work 👏 😊
Also I'd love to have Aberrant Mind Sorcerer to the poll at least for some of that lovecraftian brain powers.
Please do Phantom Rogue or Fathomless Warlock, I love to hear your takes on them in a video
I’m a huge fan of your videos I’ve been watching for a long time, also would love to see an oath of the ancients video as I’m about to play a campaign as one. I want to say that your videos are very unique and I admire your work and may start my own channel in the near future and wanted to let you know you are doing great! 👍
I will henceforth be asking for a flying rogue kenku build on each video until you upload one.
I didn’t know what to think of this class either. I learned something here. Nice work!
This subclass is so cool and so flavorful, my only problem is i wish there were more kinds of mutagens to create and more you can use at the same time, and also i think they should learn how to make a few more
Yet another banger keep it up
I would love to see one of these videos on the Horizon Walker Ranger aka Guardian of the Multiverse or the D&D equivalent to a Ghostbuster however you want to spin it. Basically along with typical Ranger stuff you get at the first 2 levels once you hit Lv. 3 and get this subclass you gain some new features including access to some new spells not on the Ranger List starting with Protection from Good and Evil, then the Misty Step spell at Lv. 5 along with the Extra Attack, then the Haste spell at Lv. 9, then the Banishment spell at Lv. 13, and finally the Teleportation Circle spell at Lv. 17.
But it doesn't stop there at Lv. 3 aka first level of the subclass you gain access to the Horizon Walker Ranger's signature abilities Detect Portal which according to the lore grants you the ability to magically sense a Planar Portal what this means mechanics-wise is you can use a action to detect the direction and distance of the nearest Planar Portal within 1 mile of you but you can't use this again until you finish a short rest or long rest, and Planar Warrior which according to the lore gives you the ability to call upon the power of the entire Multiverse to augment your attacks and what this means mechanically is as a Bonus Action you can choose one enemy within 30 Feet of you and if you hit that enemy with a weapon attack said enemy will instead take the damage as Force Damage instead of Piercing, Slashing, or Bludgeoning Damage along with taking an additional 1d8 of Force Damage and when you hit Lv. 11 that additional d8 of Force Damage bumps up from 1d8 to 2d8, then at Lv. 7 you get the Ethereal Step ability which according to the lore means you have learned to step through the Ethereal Plane which means mechanics-wise you can now use a bonus action to cast the Etherealness Spell without expanding a Spell-Slot though the spell ends at the end of your current turn though like Detect Portal you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest, then at Lv. 11 along with bumping up your addition d8 of Force Damage granted by Planar Warrior to 2d8 you also gain Distant Strike which according to the lore means you've learned how to pass through the barrier of the Planes in the blink of an eye, mechanics-wise this means you can teleport up to 10 feet to an unoccupied space that you can see before an attack, and if you use this in combo with Extra Attack to attack two different enemies you get the ability to attack a 3rd enemy, and then finally at Lv. 15 you gain Spectral Defense which according to the lore states your ability to step through the Planes lessens the harm you receive during a battle, mechanics wise this mean when you take damage from an attack you can use a reaction to give yourself resistance to all of that attack's damage on the turn you were attacked,
I enjoy this class, what I’m currently playing
Fighter 2/Blood Hunter 5
Thank you! 🙂
Time for another new vid already? Let's gooo!
Imagine how cool a horizon walker blood hunter multiclass would be.
You would be the final multiverse guardian.
Here's one you can add to the pole, try the bender from Ryoko's guide to the yokai realms. Been playing an air bender in my dm's campaign. So far, without studying the alpha or beta test pdf. I forgot which stage it's in, seemed kinda underpowered. Till I found out last week, with elemental affinity, each spell you cast is increased by one lv each time you choose the same element. About to go cast shatter cast at third lv in the bbeg's face.
No doubt I’d give this subclass the “Simic Scientist” Background.
This is perfect for a “Simic Combine” adventure!
You could make a jekyll and hyde like character using this and the artifecter alcamst subclasse for a brilliant sicenctist type character that relies on potions for they martial prowess
My friend is playing a mutant blood hunter and barbarian multiclasd and he’s helping my other players absolutely wreck my encounters
Uuh so cool how many levels in each class? And which barbarian subclass if any? Asking for a friend 👀
While zealot would be cool my preferance would be ancestral guardian, so much team support while you can still this out good damage. Beast is cool too, magic barbarian is just for the theme/meme and totum is too on the nose.
@@nicolasmateomolina.2689 he's level 5 rn so 3 levels in blood hunter and 2 in barbarian
Looking forward to seeing swarmkeeper
If you need help assembling a portable alchemy/chemistry field kit, go to your nearest trusted Artificer guild. It will cost you, but you will have more than enough tools to brew up your concoctions in a compact package.
Tempted to make a goblin one of these thats just a crackhead
I had to pause and go piss i laughed so hard at "drugs"
I'm really interested in the idea of a Blood Hunter who gains their abilities because well... their blood is special. Sorta like a Divine Soul. Don't ask me why because I just am.
I tried making a Blood hunter Gunslinger combo class for my very first character using order of the Lycan, I see now that it might have worked better if I had used order of the mutant.
Artificer alchemist wishes it was this.
Aaaaah, Pathfinder art
I appreciate the X-Men gag, but this is much more Vandal Savage or the Skrull Kill Krew.
I like to play this subclass as more of a dr.jekyll and mr.hyde type
When will we get the profane soul? I love your work and wanna see your opinion on that subclass for the hunter.
3:00 “some guy nobody’s heard of?!” bite your tongue 😡
I was AFK listening with bluetooth headphones and when I heard that I immediately thought "yeah right" lol
Same😂😂.
Now we only need the profune soul
I thought I might be a Blood Hunter once, but I took a closer look at the class and I hate it. I am most definitely not a Blood Hunter.
LETS GOOOO
I so want to see the circle of Wildfire druid
This would multiclass well with 7 lvls runeknight, maybe add a few lvls of spellcaster. (probably wizard)
02:47 that is a salamander.
Geralt would like a word
Pheonix sorcery
I wanna see the Archfey Warlock
Personally, I like to set my Hemocraft die to Wisdom. That way I can take 3 levels of Monster Slayer Ranger for Hunter's Sense. With an Action I can immediately;" learn whether the creature has any damage immunities, resistances, or vulnerabilities and what they are." The action economy is poor, but the results are finely tuned.
Especially considering the bloodcurse of exposure. 😊
Since you’ve done subclasses by MM, would you do any from Drakkenheim by the Dungeon Dudes? Specifically Arcane Hand or way of the serpent monk
Do I look like I know what a jpeg is? I just want a picture of a got dang hotdog.
So, if I understand this correctly, you can consume the mutagens that you create.
Hoping you do blood hunter ghostslayer at some point 🙏🩸🤠

It's ages restricted is there wan archive
I dare you to do a mystic!!!
Oathbreaker Paladin pls
A Warforged or Plasmoid Blood Hunter.
....how?... huh?... how?
Yeeeah, that doesn’t sound logical. Unless you flavour the hunter’s bane so it works on life force, soul energy, essence, or something along those lines that isn’t necessarily blood
Warforged Blood Hunter with the Gunner feat is basically V1 from Ultrakill
Hmmmmm artificer mutant bloodhunter?
Horizen Walker Ranger pls
Not a single clip from Gremlins 2. Forshame.
can you do the zealot next
Can we see the Gunslinger in the next vote?👉👈
1 min gaaaaaang
Ancestral Guardian Barbarian please?
Rune knight please
could you make one on swarmkeeper ranger pretty please????
Never really liked the Blood Hunter. Just feels like a janky version of the PF Inquisitor and Ragechemist Alchemist archetype. I liked how you mostly used Alchemist artwork from Paizo for this class dive
Yes that 90's X-men intro was very nostalgic. Definitely my childhood
Plz do Kenku
That is a Salamander, not a sea Turtle xd
Please
This is...the price ain't worth it, though. Disadvantage on saving throws? Especially the *important* saving throws like Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma is terrible.
Just roll better.
@@trycilz2307 Oh, because that's a legit thing anyone/everyone can change.
The price. Ain't. Worth. It.
@@JudgeMagisterSnow just roll better
Really doing bad homebrew? What's next week garlic bread cleric? Or that weeb chosen one class?
