Bluetooth absolutely sold it for me.. plus the warm low light will be awesome for under the awning while camping.. Makita needs a matching bug zapper like ryobis new one 👍
Thank you for the video. Althought I don't expect much sound from a smaller radio like this one, I would have liked to hear a small example of the sound-quality in this video.
Thanks and I hear you. Placing a mic in front of a speaker really doesn't show the sound quality well. It would be ok with references (other speakers) and that's where you meet the other challenge, licensing of the music you play through it and copyright infringement. If you can come in-store, we'd be happy to unbox one and connect your phone.
@@SydneyToolsTV Thanks for the reply and your offer, althought Sydney is a litttttttttle bit far away from me. Idea for future videos: There's plenty of copyright-free music on the internet, including the songs youtube offers. You could play one of these songs on your phone and via bluetooth on the radio. Another thing would be to see (hear) how good the antenna is. Are radio signals coming in clear or with much rustle, for example. Have a nice day!
i’ve been waiting this tool since it was first released in japan. but the first version doesnt have bluetooth. good thing makita might have read peoples opinion regarding the first version. fans want bluetooth function and they gave it. i hope we can have it here in the philippines. there’s a lot of guys here that would want that multi purpose tool.
Awesome another makita gizmo that I need to buy very handy the usb charging radio light with the lxt battery love it will have various uses plus very long run time on both lxt/xgt😀 👍
@@SydneyToolsTV That's a minus all Makita radios have. You always have to leave your phone with the radio and must hope that it doesn't get stolen. A USB-stick full of music would be no problem to replace, but the phone is full of personal data.

The sound is incredible...cant believe the clarity volume that comes from this unit so much so we bought two more...
I want the same lantern style as a work light, with a light output of like.. 3k lumens or more. Love the 360° light.

Looks like another great makita product .Thanks for your video.
How loud isit compared to the other radios ? Like what's the wattage of the speaker?
Amazing Bit of kit our lads like this better for sound than the Makita site radio..
Yeah, I was impressed by how such a little speaker sounds so good. It's near impossible to convey this in a video so thanks for mentioning it.
How's the sound quality when comparer to JBL charge or similar sized speakers?
What output is the charging port?
Awesome 👌
Can you play songs from a USB stick on it
No
