IT WORKS!! I wanted to share my experience, i had around 6 cement stains on my car for the last 3 weeks. I used equal parts lukewarm distilled water and distilled white vinegar, shook it in a bottle for a good 5 minutes. I placed a paper towel drenched in the solution taped onto the stain, and left on the car for around 10 mins, and used a microfiber towel to scratch off the residue, stuff worked like magic and saved me from having to spend $40 for a concrete dissolver. I recommend spraying a wax afterwards to get rid of any residue. And it DID NOT damage the paint, just make sure to gently rub with the towel.
Thank you very much for your valuable comment. Unfortunately, I'm impatient and got rid of the cement with some help from my nails :) The correct method is to leave the solution on the stain as you did :)
Use a paper towel to hold the 50/50 vinegar/water mix to the paintwork - saves a lot of faffing about. You can then walk away and leave it to soften. Wash all off with hose.
Thanks mate, nice method. Now it's in my mind :) Hope, this will not happen again. :) Thank you for your great comment and support :) Have a nice weekend :)
for glass you can easily use a razor blade to quickly remove the cement. Paint is another process and you do not want to use a razor blade on the painted surfaces.
Motherloving construction vehicles messing up roads and cars. My 2 year old c300 now has concrete right behind right side wheels and under the side bottom panel. I didn’t realize it was concrete and did a few swipes although very much moisturized with detailer. Now I’m afraid I might have done damage. My paint was coated and then waxed though, is there a chance my clear coat on those parts is intact?
Hi Konstantin, Dried concrete or cement can only removed with acidic products like vinegar, 3D ACo remover ...etc. Also, you have to remove it as quick as possible. If it's dried and wait too much over the paint, it may burn the lacquer and paint. Traditional quick detailers can not remove cement, concrete. Coated surfaces have a more chance then the waxed or sealed surfaces. Also, I can't say exactly that you have a chance to remove them without giving damage to your paint, unless I have seen your car :(
Hey, I have a residues on car and it's almost 1.5 years old now. I did a coating to car and after the residues sticks to the car. I tried 1:1 vinegar and water ratio but didn't helped. Can I increase the ratio and try? Will it impact on car colour?
Hi, white vinegar can't reacts quickly, you have to pour it on a MF towel and hold over the residue, if white vinegar can't remove the cement residues then you have to use more acidic product like a cement remover.
Hi Garry, sorry for late reply. You can use it over paint, chrome and aluminiıum, but before use it test it over a small area. So make sure that it doesn't change the coloror structure of chrome or aluminiıum part
Hi, Kimberly, paint has already a coating on it, and when I do a little test, I saw that beading and sheeting properties didn't change. So, I guess vinegar will not damage the waxed, sealed or coated paint. If you have doubts about vinegar, then use a make up cotton, put the vinegar on make up cotton and put it over the cement, let it soaked and washed of with water :) Also, thanks for watching my video hope it would be helpful for you.
Thanks for watching, well if you not mixed it with water maybe it will remove cement quickly but it wall damage the paint or glass (where it sticks) So, I choose to be in the safe side :) Have to try your suggestion over a scrap painted panel :) Have a nice weekend . Keep in watch my channel, will upload more detailing videos :)

Can l use white vinegar to get cement stains off *marble?*
Nope, cause marble is very sensitive to acid :(
@@ObsesifAdam anyone know what can l use?

I removed the cement on my car glass by rubbing my nails.
Good day over there. Can acid wash off cement on a reflective glass?
Did not have any experience with reflective glass. Acid may damage the reflective coating☹️
Thank so much for the response.

It certainly takes longer to get it off than it does to get it on.

luke duke without the water, the compound won't ionize, and won't work effectively and evenly.
😂 this shit does not work😂 vinegar and water not only won't remove concrete, it can't even remove concrete dust😂
