I was 7 years old, living in Townsville and was in absolute love with Abba. The night of this Concert, my mum and dad woke me up to let me watch the concert. Was one of the best nights of my young life. Still love them.
My mother took me to that concert. It rained but they continued with the show. It was the Sydney Show Ground. 3 years later I seen KISS at the same venue.
I'm 70 and these videos still enthrall me. I remember ABBA back in the 70's but didn't appreciate them until the pandemic. I'm soo stupid. They are beyond fantastic

The most amazing thing is all the children having the time of their lives at this concert...young ones with sparklers, young boys almost crying for their crushes on Agnetha and Anni-Frid, and the others just singing along...

Despite that this performance is faster than the studio version. So it is about 10 seconds shorter from when the singing starts and stops. Play them one after the other. They are different in tempo, sound quality, backing harmonies and this sounds a slightly lower key. You can even hear Agnetha go a little off pitch here when she crouches down to touch hands with audience members.

I started thinking about super groups/artists. Can't think of any--Beatles, Zep, Moody B's, Jimi, Stones, etc.-- except for ABBA, Jackson 5 &MJ, and Elvis-- that appealed as much to young children and adults of all ages, as ABBA. I know I must be missing some-- help me out.
