I was 7 years old, living in Townsville and was in absolute love with Abba. The night of this Concert, my mum and dad woke me up to let me watch the concert. Was one of the best nights of my young life. Still love them.
One of the few live pop acts from the 70s, which the whole family could attend: ie. without having to worry about what the children would pick up, from the lyrics...
My mother took me to that concert. It rained but they continued with the show. It was the Sydney Show Ground. 3 years later I seen KISS at the same venue.

At the age of 55, I have to surrender and prostrate myself at Abba's feet. I spent my whole life putting Abba in a secondary place in my musical preferences, but this wonderful song kept ringing inside me with more and more force until I could CLEARLY see and feel that Abba has been the most beautiful expression of all contemporary popular music. Despite that this performance is faster than the studio version. So it is about 10 seconds shorter from when the singing starts and stops. Play them one after the other. They are different in tempo, sound quality, backing harmonies and this sounds a slightly lower key. Is there an ABBA revivals.? i have seen ABBA tributes in cruises and recently watched an ABBA tribute in Orlando and noted a lot of enthusiastic young girls in the crowd. I watched a lot of tribute bands for the 70's and most in the crowd as you expect are in their mid 60's and above but not with ABBA's. I am glad the young crowd enjoying this type of music
I started thinking about super groups/artists. Can't think of any--Beatles, Zep, Moody B's, Jimi, Stones, etc.-- except for ABBA, Jackson 5 &MJ, and Elvis-- that appealed as much to young children and adults of all ages, as ABBA. I know I must be missing some-- help me out.
