Crafty, you're probably too young to remember when the song and movie Fame came out. The song was a big hit in 1980, and it won the Oscar for best original song in 1981.

If there's anything more to say about this perfectly produced song is that it's a wonderful tribute to the wonderful Irene Cara , I hope she's smiling from above....we all wanted FAME in the 80's.
Wow… 4 players singing background, 2 guitars, keys, drums, bass and 1 lead vocalist with a set of pipes sent straight from heaven…old school rock ensemble kicking ass all over the place! Watching you people really brings back memories and makes me miss playing horribly. Just so much fun to watch and listen to. Watching you play this out really makes me appreciate the song as well. Something I never took seriously when it was a hit… hahaha Awesomeness all around!

Some song require a certain level of energy, and when it reaches that level, it’s nearly impossible to contain the audience. This is one of these songs and Chloe was the perfect choice to lead those vocals. But cuddos to everyone else in this band for rising to the plate, from the guitars, to the bass and drums, and of course the background vocals that sound like there are three times moe people singing than there actually is. Very professional mix and production. Thanks for sharing

Fame was a force of nature back in the 80’s and you brought back the force with this version. An amazing mix of vocals and instruments took me right back to me as a kid hearing these songs for the first time. Would love to hear your take on Starmaker. Kudos to Darren for another top drawer production and to the rest of the guys for bringing it yet again.
