Why are you using 2 different colors of visquine and which worked better for you?

She said in the video (and I found out through research) that the black plastic is not as effective as clear plastic. The roots were killed farther down in the soil by using clear plastic. This was actually surprising to me. I thought the black plastic would absorb more heat and the dark material would prevent the sunlight from reaching the vegetation, and kill it. But apparently, for whatever scientific reason, clear works better. And even more effective would be putting clear plastic over the black plastic. But, of course, that would require more cost and effort.

So does this kill the good stuff too? Are there worms in the soil still?
