    That is real nice like but, how long does a 12Ah battery lasts on it? Oh and smeesh that like button 👀👉🏽 👍🏽

    • @Dale37
      @Dale37 4 года назад +3

      12.0 battery will fill the tank from empty about eight times on one charge.

      I understand that a 12ah will shoot about 1600 brad nails. (Not a bad number for small to medium sized trim jobs.)

    I'm a general contractor and I just bought this compressor for a couple specific uses. To run my pneumatic nailers before power is on a job site for things like tacking mudsills, form work, etc. saves me from having to drag a generator out. I also plan on using it for room to room finish carpentry work. I have a full compliment of pneumatic nailers and didn't want to have to invest in going to all battery powered nailers but wanted the capability of being able to use a nailer without a generator. This thing just effectively turned all my pneumatic nailers into battery powered nailers for the price of a single battery powered nailer.

    the only thing they missed was adding an ac option so you could plug it up, but i guess the duty cycle wouldnt allow for it

    I can’t decide if I want to buy into this thing yet. It certainly would help with emergency situations out on the road but I don’t see it replacing my corded compressor. The benefits don’t seem to outweigh the cost. Excellent information as always though brother!

    I think for portability this is a great solution. I wish it was a hybrid. Then there is the price 📈💰💰💰. Iam not ready to make the switch.

    The pressure regulator knob is probably hard to turn so that it doesn't move from vibration.

    Honestly I think it will excel when you have to go into somebody's house and now you don't have this loud compressor running most of the day because I like to do trim by myself and either I'm lucky or I learn something for my father because when I'm done trimming out windows the floor ceiling I get nothing but compliments so having a nice quiet compressor would be nice

    • @ToolReviewZone
      @ToolReviewZone  4 года назад +1

      That's what I was thinking. Some probably wouldn't like the loud compressor in the house

    This is the video I've been looking for! I'm getting into roadside assistance services with a few friends and we were looking to invest in some of these compressors hooked up to small impact wrenches. Could you do a quick video taking off/torquing on some lug nuts?

    • @superdog1964
      @superdog1964 3 года назад

      You can remove 5 lug nuts at MOST. You will then have to wait until the pressure builds up again until you can remove any more. When putting the lug nuts back on, it generally uses more air, so expect around 3 lugs and then wait again. It is better than using a lug wrench, but understand that for each tire you must remove and replace, plan on 10 minutes per tire. It also has an overheating sensor and depending on the air temps. it may shut down if it gets really hot from continuous operation.
      He mentions die grinders in the video. FORGET it, Lol. This is a great unit but some stationary 60 gallon 5HP 2 stage compressors have a hard time depending on the size and CFM requirements of die grinders, DA sanders and other tools. Forget any paint spraying unless you are using a small air brush. HVLP guns will crush this unit. It is made for small nailers, brad and pin guns, airing up tires and other small jobs that do not require or have large CFM' requirements.

    Ahh......loving on a recently purchased lightweight and quiet corded right now for work, but? One of these would sure be a part of the M18/M12 godsend for camping and active travel. Milwaukee’s breadth of M18 and M12 tools service ‘play’ better than any other maker by far. (Play is a much better four letter word than work.....JMHO lol.)

    It would be nice to know how many roofing nails it can do into 3/4 sheeting, before needing a break to fill up. For full roofs it's useless. But I could see maybe for sheds, carports, patch jobs, or a couple squares on a porch addition.

    I dont see battery powered compressor to be used anywhere. Roadside assitance - oil compressor, Mechanic oil/power outlet. For floaties, tires or kick balls a small 18V inflator will be enough than chugging around a compressor.

    I’m thinking of buying one too run a coil nailer shooting 45mm nails for fencing, so that would 3 nails at a time then stop place next board then 3 again. Im asking if anyone’s done similar and what are the results with style of nail as iv only seen videos with Brad and framing nails and 45mm coil nails are in the middle of the two, so any help would be good.

    Has anybody that owns the cordless air compressor filled a 5 gallon or 15 gallon tank with it?
    I know this is not what it is meant for but I'm wondering how long it takes to fill it.
    My real world application would be filling my bait cannon at the beach and this would save me from having to haul a compressor and generator. I already tried the m12 inflator and it overheats after 20mins and tops out at 65psi
