When Faiz Ahmed Faiz was asked about this ghazal he said “Woh meri kahan rahi woh to Noor Jahan ki hogayi hai” no one can come near to her level she tried her best but I find the coke studio version way way better. But one thing I must say when it comes to music specially ghazals, qawwalis, sufi and folk music Pakistan has no comparison. Literally none. 🙌❤️

I’m happy that you kept the original way of this ghazal. This was written by Mr. Faiz Ahmad Faiz and he gifted to Madam Noor Jehan since she did the Composition of poetry. Sonu, there are some parts where you covered some parts was good. At first I thought why you are going to sing Madam Noor Jehan’s ghazal but when I heard I liked it. I love this ghazal and I used to sing some of Madam’s ghazals and some songs.

When Faiz Ahmed Faiz was asked about this ghazal he said “Woh meri kahan rahi woh to Noor Jahan ki hogayi hai” no one can come near to her level she tried her best but I find the coke studio version way way better. But one thing I must say when it comes to music specially ghazals, qawwalis, sufi and folk music Pakistan has no comparison. Literally none. 🙌❤️

I’m happy that you kept the original way of this ghazal. This was written by Mr. Faiz Ahmad Faiz and he gifted to Madam Noor Jehan since she did the Composition of poetry.
Sonu, there are some parts where you covered some parts was good. At first I thought why you are going to sing Madam Noor Jehan’s ghazal but when I heard I liked it.
I love this ghazal and I used to sing some of Madam’s ghazals and some songs.
