    I have not read all of the comments on this video, but I am sure it has been said and even if it has been you should hear it again. This is actually one of the best tutorial videos I have watched on RUclips. You are clear, concise, and have included (what I believe is) all of the most valuable information to get this job done correctly. Generally I have a very hard time finding videos that do that with anything, so THANK YOU!!!

    Thankfully mazda cares about their customers and doesn't make it a nightmare to change something as simple as oil like certain other companies..

    As others have said, great video Enrique. Clear with great commentary. I went to do my daughters and it seemed like I had to remove the oil filter first which is new for me so I just wanted to verify how others did it as access to drain plug, although convenient, is tight with the filter in place.

    thank you very much! i'm about to change the oil for the first time in my 'new' car, and i'll reference this heavily. pretty new to working on cars but i'm excited to learn. not sure if i have an 8mm allen socket, but i do have plenty of regular allens (which i'm assuming will work). hopefully going to put on a fumoto valve on that bad boy!

    Why do i have a noise in my brakes. Applies them and it stops??

    • @Enrique_Osorio
      @Enrique_Osorio  5 лет назад +1

      First thing I would check is to see if the brake pad lining is worn out. You way be able to do this with a small telescoping mirror and a flashlight, but ideally you should remove the wheel and inspect each brake pad individually. If the lining is good, make sure your rotor does not have any uneven ridges or valleys which could be a sign of uneven rotor or pad wear. Another thing to check is to make sure all the sliding surfaces of your brake system are clean and properly lubricated. Lastly, if the material of your brake pad is of low quality, excessive noise and dust can be a consequence. Thanks for your question and thanks for watching!!

    Can you please recommend an engine equivalent to FL22 that can be used to flush and refill the coolant in Mazda 3 2012 Skyactive?

    • @Enrique_Osorio
      @Enrique_Osorio  5 лет назад

      I am not sure I understand the question. Are you asking if there is another engine that has the same coolant as the Mazda so you can remove the coolant from the other car and put it in the Mazda?

    • @Ibamba7
      @Ibamba7 5 лет назад +1

      Sorry I mistyped. I was asking if you could recommend an engine coolant that is equivalent to FL22. Mazda recommend FL22 coolant, however I can't find it anywhere.
      I would like to flush and refill the coolant in my 2012 Mazda 3.

      I use Peak - Asian Vehicles - Green and have not had a problem.
      peakauto.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/PEAK-OET-Asian-Spec-Sheet_Green-080917.pdf
      peakauto.com/products/antifreeze-coolants/automotive/oet-asian-vehicles-extended-life-green/
      The links above are to a PDF describing the coolant and the second link is to the product website. This is a silicate free coolant which is imperative to prevent gelling of the antifreeze.

      @@Ibamba7 old comment, but in case people look, FL22 is mazdas long life coolant. Its good for 10 years or 100 000kms.
      You may use another provided it meets the specs.
      Flush the system with demin water before draining and adding new coolant

      Disculpe pero yo no escribo el espanol muy bien. Si no estoy claro con mi respuesta dejame saber y voy a tratar de clarificar.
      Busque informacion sobre su carro y lo que encontre es que es muy facil cambiar el aceite de la transmission.
      1. Quite el tornillo que detiene el indiocador de nivel de aceite (dipstick).
      2. Sube el carro en la misma manera que lo hicieras si estabs cambiando el aceite de motor.
      3. Quita el tornillo (drain plug) de el aceite de transmission.
      4. Es importante cambiar el tornillo y el emaque de el tornillo con una nueva
      5. El torque para apretar el tornillo es 30-41 Nm (3.1-4.1 kgf-m, 23-30 ft-lbf)
      6. Pon el carro nivel a el suelo.
      7. Llena la transmission por medio del oyo de el indicador de el nivel.
      8. Necesita entre 3.5 a 4.9 litros de aceite de transmission de Mazda. Es Mazda FZ.
      La informacion que yo encontre indica que nunca se tiene que cambiar el liquido. Es por vida.

    Why would the oil be hot lol, don't run your car if your about to change the oil 😅

    • @Enrique_Osorio
      @Enrique_Osorio  Год назад +4

      Although it is possible to change your oil while it is cold, changing it while it is hot is preferred since it's viscosity is lower which means you will be able to drain more of the oil out.
