I was never able to see her perform live, however living in Las Vegas did meet her at Mahoney's Drum Shop in Las Vegas in the middle 90's. She was visiting with Chris Mahoney's father who played drums often on her recordings and live shows. Very nice and gracious lady! Wish we had more of her type music in today's world, sad but true, GOOD memories is all that folks of my age have left to enjoy.

+Christopher Fugate You can find her 90th birthday party on youtube. This must be the new 90! Doris Day is 92 and also still looks like Doris Day. I am 75 going on 76 and look much the same as when I was in my 20s. I think things have changed. Sue lives with her daughter and is retired from singing but when you hear her speak you will know she could still sing if she wanted.
One of the evergreen selections. They don't make them like that again. Plenty nostalgia and sublimity Heaven on mortal earth indeed. Bless the singer and all connected with this unique musical presentation TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO
Sa-a-a-d movies always make me cry He said he had to work so I went to the show alone They turned down the lights and turned the projector on And just as the news of the world started to begin I saw my darlin' and my best friend walk in Though I was sittin' there they didn't see And so they sat right down in front of me When he kissed her lips I almost died And in the middle of the color cartoon I started to cry. Oh-oh-oh sa-a-a-d movies always make me cry Oh-oh-oh sa-a-a-d movies always make me cry And so I got up and slowly walked on home And mama saw the tears and said â??what's wrong?â?? And so to keep from telling her a lie I just said â??sa-a-a-d movies make me cryâ?? Oh-oh-oh sa-a-a-d movies always make me cry Oh-oh-oh sa-a-a-d movies always make me cry Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh Sa-a-a-d movies make me cry-why-why
