@@ppg19782 one of the best looking years for gsxrs was the 07-08 years. Aesthetically, they’re beautiful bikes. High revving. Nimble and light. Great year for the gsxr. Throw a damper on it and you’re good to go!
Also, what size grommets did you install in the rear tail section at 5:07. Looks like you went to Ace hardware for a bunch of screws. That's also the point that I'm at with this build
I think they were 1/4 20 sized not sure on that one and yes ace hardware always has what I need in stock I hate going to Lowe’s or home depot to try to find things because one they’re either all stollen out of the bags or just nothing there at all.
It was similar to these but I found them In the nuts and bolts section: www.acehardware.com/departments/lighting-and-electrical/boxes-fittings-and-conduit/cable-protectors/3472362
I used the bolt kit that came with the fairings. However, I do not recommend them. They are such lightweight aluminum. They almost feel plastic and break really easily. I recommend checking out pro bolt USA for a set of steel bolts or thicker gauge aluminum ones in the screws were not included. I had to go to a local hardware store and pick out some screws that were the correct size.
Ok, thanks, Any idea of the screws name and size? I have the exact same bike, and ive ordered a stainless steel bolt kit on ebay, and now i just need the screws... I dont know the names, size, or how many i need, I do have the 2 screws that connects the headlight on the front stray
I been looking for the part but haven't found it. I ordered new mirrors so I used the old rubber as the spacer for in-between the frame and plastic. The new mirrors have their own rubber piece
when I got the bike, the servo motor and the valve from the exhaust had already been deleted. It’s a pretty straightforward process of just unbolting things and unhooking cables. There should be plenty of RUclips videos on it. Hope that helps.

@@Highway9mm wow thanks after replacing the fuel pump and all the rubber hoses that came with that kit I flushed out the main filter with brake cleaner and contact cleaner and/or carb cleaner and flushed it with a bit of fuel.
