I'm so mad at the direction for this last episode because of one thing: they made Reo an as*hole! In the manga, he was ashamed to have been chosen instead of Kunigami and looks sad without saying anything. It was Shindou who broke the silence and mocked Kunigami. The anime director hates Reo (he said it in an interview) but the manga authors love Reo (also said in an interview)...
Raichi's type of players (Defense Midfielders) are underrated all the time, you won't ever see a best 11 of all time with a Defense Midfielder on it, they put 3 or even 4 offensive players on it. but these guys are so important. guys like Casimiro, Busquets, Gattuso, Kanté, etc! they are not the more flashy players, but they are key for a team.
I can bet you that you’re gonna fall in love with Shidou (our lovable, crazy, zesty, roach boy). Also, felt so bad for Kunigami, next season will be absolute peak, and I love your merch (it’s so freaking adorable)
I really hope season 2 gets the animation it deserves. There were a lot of points where the animation felt bad and didn’t look fluid. I hope they get a big budget and lots of time. I think the problem is that in the manga you can read faster than they talk so it feels much faster paced. You really don’t need to read the explanations ( at least I don’t as I watch a lot of football) so you can just skim read when they explain who X got past Y.
To be fair , i just came from japan trip few weeks ago , from what i seen in tokyo/osaka/kyoto , Blue lock is VERY FAMOUS there and been selling its merchandise almost at every booth , Even in the main JR LINE Tokyo Station , with Signs that "all the money going for the anime so please support" , so i have very big hopes for them!

Blue Lock is inspiring a new generation of Japanese footballers and I am here for it. I would very much like to see Japan become one of the best teams in international football, Europe and South America just have a very big lead against the rest of the world, but more and more asian and obscure countries are developing talent that make it into the big leagues. Japan and the Korean Republic have a ton of players in Europe at the moment and thats a very good thing.
tbh probably because he's just chigiri but like not as good. he out did chigiri once but thats it, chigiri took the spotlight and he's a much more focused character with more flashy scenes. Zantetsu just kinda had one half good scene where he outsped chigiri

Some Spoilers - Seeing on how they adapted the first season it went with about 3-4 chapters per episode now bc the next arc is the biggest one in blue lock im saying it will cover it whole for the 2nd season so id say they will cover from chapter 94-151 ending it with the day off episode or maybe introducing the neo egoist league and leaving it off there.Idc about anything if they atleast do justice do the u20 match
