  • Still a lot of work to do but it lives! So running with the Clark TK80X which is specifically made to run with external ESC's for that I am using Sabretooth ESC's . The Sabertooth is running a big 6S lipo 22.5V and the Clark board is run off a 7.4v 2200 MAH. the Clark has onboard dual 15W amp for the speakers. will probably move down to a 3S Lipo that we did test with as the 6S just has so much power and runs so fast!
Michael has the end points down to 10% in this video! LOL! gotta do some cleats on the ramp to help with traction. Will be adding smokers for exhaust and try to get the firing squib up and running too. Didn't work in this go round. And of course whole new paint job and details to be added but we are getting there!
Many, Many thanks to my friend MichaelC for doing the electronics install. could have done it without you! :-)
As always subscribe to my youtube channel for tons more tank videos, this years battle season, and there will be updates on the beast as we go!!! You can also check out my little store website for 1/16 stuff and tank projects that we have done.

I installed rubber pads for my ramps so it won’t slide. I had same problem with my 1/6 model as well.
Very nice 1/6 Tiger 2 you have. Recoil main gun too.

That is really cool! How much does something like this end up costing you when you’re all done building it?

I checked real quick, they seem to be around $11,000US.

I got a chance to get one for around 4500$ last year, but I was short on cash back then, it was a limited time bargain
I don't think he produces them at the time because of the war, the foundry and parts were made in Russia

@Orbit_Corona they are the gold standard for rc tanks, although they are other companies out there with outstanding models like Metalbox and Warslug, but their prices are not for the lips of mortals
I myself stick with 1/16, but if I look back I could've bought a couple of Armorteks with the money I've spent in the past 15 years 😂

The biggest problem with these RC tanks is that the driving is unrealistic. The rate at which they make corners is way too high.

It is not a problem at all. They are quite capable of crawling and turning at realistic speeds. This was purely a test of functions after a few years of being immobile. During this video the tank had a high power 6S battery in it. This will be dropped down to 3S and will run much slower.
