That was stupid putting candles on the floor and then have the paper streamers......what were they thinking.
As a wedding planner, I only use frameless candles.
They should ask for their money back from the wedding planner unless this was the bride's/groom's idea.
Well, it appears to me they were NOT thinking.
It is kinda laughable but also that could’ve ended way worse

Watched another video where there was a fire. Unfortunately in the other situation, people died. Here's hoping couples will stop doing these stupid things during their weddings to avoid potential tragedies.

Some people are saying it is paper string/confetti streamers but that looks like silly string to me, which is highly flammable. Either way what a bunch of ding dongs to mix any of it with actual fire.

The decorator never heard of submersible LED candles for $10 on Amazon instead of real candles placed on the floor 🙄

One of my aunts wedding dress train caught on fire during the reception, one of my uncles took off his jacket and extinguished the flames and did get some minor burns on his hands in the process.
Now as the wedding coordinator at my church, we don’t allow candles except on the altar or anything to be thrown at the bride and groom, no paper streamers, no flower petals, no rice or bird seed. We do allow bubbles outside, but not indoors. All these items can pose a trip/slip/fall hazard which would not only ruin the day for the couple but also create a liability situation for the church.
People be doing too much for one day. Everyone gets so busy preparing for the wedding day that they forget to prepare for a life of marriage. Trust and believe that couples who have a simple , inexpensive weddings have a better chance stay married pass 5 years, because they don't start their marriages being broke or with a financial burden.

If you are going to have candles, you can not have paper, hanging bows, or anything flammable around them anywhere near it and it's best to keep them off the floor. If an actual wedding planner put that together then there needs to be a change.

I cannot believe she said, "We don't think we have to invite military, firemen, a seamstress." Girl, what you needed was a wedding planner who would've told you to NOT have an open flame on the floor! To me it just means like common sense. No open flames less than 3 feet of the bride, clothing, and guests.
