I absolutely love this set (ofc not for the retail price, waiting for it to drop to around 55$). 25th minifig, Luke and Lando are absolutely beautiful. I’m quite a fan of the build itself to the point I was thinking about buying another set without minifigs (15-20$) and combine it. Great video, thank you!
@@Dr.PeterLaFleur Thanks for your insightful comments and glad you enjoyed the video. I will be adding one more of the newest sets on offer for both Niemb Numb and the builds. 👍
In the 2017 set, unless I’m mistaken, pulling upwards and downwards (as opposed to side-to-side) on the tentacles gets the jaws of the sarlacc to do a nice chomping motion!
Huh I haven't noticed it being a misprint, I will look into getting another then. I agree with you the order of the barges as they should really getting better with time but the older two still do a job. Thanks for your comments 👍
@MixABrix Yeah, Look at the eye "mould" and where the eyes are printed, the eyes were printed to Low. Its a very nice collactors Item Now, but its better to have both... A perfectly fine one, and the cool misprint, so i wouldn't throw it away
@@superllamaadventures6421Someone else pointed this out. I've contacted LEGO and have a new one coming but hopefully I have something rare in that head. Cheers👍
This may just be nostalgia talking, but I feel the older sets did a better job at bringing play features and these skiffs give a great job showing it. The 2012 is simple, easy to fix when you smashed it and gives a large area on the deck to recreate the fight with Luke, the 2017 is similar, trying to keep it simple and playable, while also trying to make it good enough to display on a shelf. And the 2024 one is definitely geared to display, it looks fantastic but I can't help but think that if someone drops it it's gonna be mor annoying to put back together. idk, great video btw, I reckon plaiting up the 2012 could make it look fantastic
Thanks for the interesting comments. I didn't think about the smashable aspect but yes good thought and also the large deck for standing figures on. Definitely leaning towards adding some small extra details to the oldest to help it blend in a little. I'm such a ROTJ fan so have to do this whole scene justice.
The ppp and number of minifigs makes the new skiff an easy swerve. Even at 60 quid. They are freat models dont get me wrong but the lie about them not passing the new plastic cost onto us is getting ridiculous . This is a 45 pound set maximum. Putting them all ina moc would be awesome.
@@MixABrix ohh sorry I do have a tendency to rant at the wrong times lol . If money was no object it would be fine but I am finding my self more and more priced out of Lego as a hobby.
Good luck with your channel! Onwards and upwards!

@@sinasquares5694 I've just tried it and you are exactly right. Always learning 😎 cheers
Your Nien Numb is a misprint, you can order a new one for free, nice video!
I think 2024 is the best, 2017 second place and 2012 third

@Greedo1977 Yes exactly have both. Cheers 👍
Kithaba from the oldest skiff is returning in the UCS sail barge.
@@mattheb01yes looking forward to having an updated version. We will likely have most of the skiff guards then if not all from various past sets.

My opinion
