  • Welcome to my new video! In this video I will talk about the benefits of practicing slurs while playing the trumpet in slow motion.
Practicing ties slowly is crucial for developing precise and controlled playing techniques. It allows trumpeters to improve their valve technology and airflow to achieve seamless transitions between notes.
Another important aspect is improving the sound quality. The slow tempo allows players to ensure that their tones sound even and without interruptions.
In addition, practicing in slow motion promotes the development of muscle memory so that the movements are performed automatically and precisely when playing later.
Fine-tuning your breathing technique is also an important aspect. By practicing slowly, trumpeters can refine their breathing technique to achieve a consistent and controlled airflow.
Finally, practicing in slow motion allows you to specifically work on weak points and overcome technical challenges.
Overall, practicing slow motion slurs helps improve technical skills and musical expressiveness when playing the trumpet.
I hope I was able to help you with my thoughts as well as exercises, tips and tricks on this important trumpet topic/video. Here's to good cooperation and always remember: sticking with it is the motto!
See you soon and Ciao!!! Your Nico

Wieder mal ein schönes Thema was immer wieder Schwierigkeiten macht.
