Thank you so much for this information! I was kind of scared and now I feel better prepared. I'm being interviewed virtually for a short film I made called "He's Late". Thanks again, Cheryl!
Great information. Thank you. Two questions. Being a Black woman, I''m concerned about lighting. In the past, I've observed how getting the lighting right with Black skin has been challenging. I understand new technology corrects this. Is this true? Also, is it best to get questions ahead of time from the producers or is it best to be prepared around topics.only?
Hello, @Kerrilyn! Being nervous is natural. Preparation is key. If you have the opportunity to be on a national TV segment, congratulations! Make sure you do your homework as I mentioned in this video. Know your talking points, practice them, and then focus - really focus on the people who need to hear what you have to say. As an expert in your industry, you have knowledge that your audience needs to hear. That's why they are interviewing you in the first place. Tap into that. The nerves will still be there, but your goal to help people will hopefully be greater than that.
@@CherylTan Thank you so much for your reply! Yes, it was my first time on national TV. Thank you! It went well I would say and also from all of the comments I received. I really found your video useful in helping me to prepare and I will also use the tips in your reply, in the future! Thanks again!
