You came a long way in just one week! You’d mentioned your plan to return to the rental the first weekend to pick up the items you left there. Just wondering if you filmed that? One last goodbye to your home in the tree tops? The sculptures on the dock are very nice and unexpected. The little roped off swimming area there is also great. I remember a previous video, months before you moved, when you were there and lots of kids were playing. Are dogs allowed to swim there? As for open shelving, the area across from the end of the kitchen bench, where you have the boxes as you are unpacking them and the chair and small bookcase ( 24:11 ), maybe it’s for a small dining table? And, perhaps you could hang a couple of floating shelves there for some open display space?

Hi Libby, the new place is looking good. Where did you get the under-sink drawers? I think I need something like that in my pantry. Have an awesome day. Sara

Love that we have no decor on shelves, walls or anywhere. Libby your box’s and stuff will still be there your Mum is priority. You will be very sorry not making her priority. Your stuff is not priority. I could own nothing in this world and penniless and as long as I have Ron , Mum and my brother I am rich.

I'm sure Libbys mum is her priority. We do not know everything, but what Libby shows us. It's easy to judge. Remember kindness is so much better than criticism.

I do know that Patty. There isn't a lot I can do for my Mum at the moment. her depression is severe and she spends most days in bed. Kevin and the pups are my top priority which means looking after the them and our new house. It's hard because I also have to look after myself (with my fibro).

I have watched you for many years Libby and we have agreed and disagreed on several occasions but this time is far too much sorry. It is not even that you class yourself as a minimalist even though you are far from a minimalist. You shop like no one I know. You are a maximalist even though you do not want to admit it. Kevin is a hoarder to the max. Even beyond that as you are who you are. Also I understand being there for Kevin as he is your husband. But to say that dogs and your home are more important than your Mother is just wrong on so many levels. Not a hope that things are more important than loved ones. Cannot believe that you said there is nothing you can do for your Mother because she has depression and stays in bed and that your priority is your dogs and home. Your priorities are off big time. God I gave up everything to care for my Mother, disabled brother and dying husband. Even moved into an aged care facility so he was not alone. You know what I would not have it any other way. Things are just that, things. You think buying the newest appliance or fanciest thing is more important than your Mother. You say there is nothing you can do? Well sitting on the bed with her and just being there is something you can do. Even just sitting there and saying nothing is doing something. My head hurts just thinking about what you said. It breaks my 💜 Libby. I just cannot sit back and watch and listen to you go on about the stuff you want or the stuff you need. YOU ARE NOT A MINIMALIST LIBBY. Christy is a minimalist. I could say you will regret this but sadly I do not think you will. Thank you for the great years watching you but alas it is just to hard to watch now. Very happy for you and Kevin and I really only wish you happiness in the future. Just keep that amazing smile on your face .
