The way it should go is that Vegeta should be the one to kill Frieza after Frieza kills Beerus. However, we already know from predictable Dragonball that the Saiyans will struggle at first, lose the initial battle, train some more, get a hair color change and "unlock" a new boring form of the same old and eventually ome of the Saiyans will destroy Frieza. That is, until the next story arc when they bring Frieza back for yet another BS reason. Boring
