Well there I was thinking that this was one of my better vocal performances... and then Lucia comes and blows it all completely out of the water with her singing in the break section. Very happy to have her but it looks like I've got some practicing to do!
This is another song from my live catalogue, delving into the later work of Ensiferum - orchestrations were a bit more complex on this one...
As usual, all rhythm guitars quad-tracked with the Jackson SL3MG, amped in the Axe Fx through a Mesa Mk IV. The Traxis has made a reappearance in the lead tones, also played on the SL3MG.
Brass and banjo through the Korg microX, all other orchestrations from the Sonatina Orchestra as normal. Drums from MegaReaper drumkit.
My vocals (harsh and clean) through my SM58, and now that I think of it I'm not sure what Lucia recorded with... will update when I find out...
