Yeah Trent barton never fails to get newer buses each year. Arriva on the otherhand don't, and from what I heard from some ex-arriva drivers arriva as a company always tries to save money at any cost. Literally Arriva Derby ordered 19 new StreetLite buses back in 2018, and before then 6 Enviro400's in 2014, and then a handful of Scania's 2008/2009 (which all scanias being replaced with VDL SB200 Wright Pulsar's that are of the same age or older [09/59/58/08/57 plates etc]). With arriva, their buses keep breaking down or failing to show up, meanwhile Trent Barton are 95% of the time show dont have issues. I'm in an area that is just arriva buses, and though they are cheaper than trent barton, I rather have trent barton running these routes, as though they charge more they are more reliable than arriva.
Nice
You notice Arriva has the oldest buses in Derby compared with Trent Barton.
