How do you open the filter

Exactly my machine but it does not solve my problem - I can't remove the pump cover as there seems to be something stuch inside.
Thanks for posting this but would have been better without the cheesy music.

There's a little whole on the left side where the filter is housed. I took a piece of wire and made a circular tip and pushed it up there to clear the gunk that packs up in there. Worked for me

@@clydeexford4301 Thanks. In the end I replaced the pump. I sawed open the old pump and found a 2mm twist drill completely jammed in place preventing the cover from being removed.
