The video is a perfection of video editing and direction to its finest! The footage transitions, the cinematic like shots, the narration and most importantly the straight to the point information, along with some humorous antics lol, some had me laughing, keep up the amazing vids man.
High quality as usual!! Also the morellatops can irrigate crops now too. You should do one for modded dinos to add...like the giant scorpion fits well (modders have to update some of them due to new spawns)

New viewer here, just getting into Scorched Earth for the first time on Ascended and I have to say you have the most informative, concise Ark content with great visuals to match. Everything else I'd googled had so much filler or empty time in videos - 10/10. I appreciate the time you put into your content.
Thank you! You're welcome! It's a nightmare, so much tougher than the ASE version of the map, I tested it out earlier in Single Player, wearing a full set of ghillie armour, my guy needed 186 fortitude to survive the boiling hot temperature levels!!

Fasolasuchus is clutch for the manticore fight thanks to their immunity to torpor, good damage, and they’re decently tanky without putting points into health so just put them mostly into melee.
I've seen a lot of ARK videos from many creators since the release of Scorched Earth and this is by far the best one i've seen, then again your video quality is always miles above the rest XD
Thank you for making this video. It might seem like an over-done idea but despite playing ark pretty much since it was released, i never played SE nor have i really tamed all the creatures in the game. knowing the usefulness of some of these tames will help me have more fun on SE.

Great video. And you can get wyvern milk from the male wyverns as well, just takes a lot longer and you do not get as much. Just need some patience and you'll get it.

fasolasuchus tail whip attack can dismount enemy player from their mount. I ride my thylaco around it before and it hit me with whip attack and it dismounted me to the ground.
I must admit I did try it and it didn't work but it might be because I tested the wrong creatures? haha...it does seem some attacks have effect on certain creatures, well I tried its bite against a tamed Rex and the Rex received no armour debuff affect at all!
i used to have a jaboa in my base, with the non stop storms on ASA i killed it, was the only way to shut the damn thing up lol and the storms seem pretty broken on asa i ignore them. wyverns are still fast but i still prefer my gryphons, even if there not technically in the game yet without mods.
Haha! I did read up that they were going to look into decreasing the amount of storms we're getting! Wish I could ignore them haha, but yeah very inconsistent, pretty sure they aren't working as intended in some cases!

@@funnypickles Haha honestly, I just use the Kangaroo and kite it around in circles, right now they don't seem to flee when gaining torpor, it's easy enough to do with a fire wyvern or lightning wyvern, I wouldn't recommend trying it with a poison though unless you are wearing a gasmask XD
Not played with the wyverns on ASA scorched yet but if you can manage to down an alpha wyvern, they drop a lot of milk (well, they did in ASE anyway). On Ragnarok, I built large trap with a behemoth gate an pillars for walls plus a generator and a keypad. I'd drag wyvern through trap and an ally would use the keypad to close the gate. Worked great for fire wyverns. Didn't know lightning wyverns had longer range with breath weapon until ally got killed a few times standing at the keypad.
For some reason, I don't have megatherium on the map Scorched Earth | ARK: Survival Ascended. I searched everything, but there aren't any of them! Are they coming with DLC or something?
They are quite rare and do definitely spawn, I've seen a lot around the central areas of the map! You're not playing Single Player by any chance? Someone else commented about Yuty spawns being broken In Single Player...I tested it out myself and could not find one Yuty in SP however they spawn perfectly fine on a rented server!
@@StrimoFob It is frustrating though, that person did find a Yuty spawn in the end but he did have to spawn in a wild one to tame cause of how broken the spawns are :(
Nah only gathers wood and has weight reduction for it, it's a worker dino, sadly I'd love to include them, the Anky is far more useful to me and I feel like it just doesn't add enough utility other than being amazing for metal gathering with great weight reduction for it. Quicker way to gather wood is actually just use an Argy pumped with levels in weight and use a chainsaw, throw it all on your Argy and do a few trips which is usually quicker anyway. The perfect combo would be to bring a Thorny Dragon just for weight reduction as Argy can carry it but yeah still use the chainsaw to gather wood as it's better XD
I have to agree with Bey! I always used the Thorny for its weight reduction and nothing else lol, chainsaw is a thing i've missed so much in this game, it's the best way to gather almost anything!
Have you got a moth at all? Or anything that can get you near enough to the mountains where you can bait one into a trap? Crocs don't live near the mountains at least XD

The best area to look from my experience is around the flat open areas in the center of the map, anywhere below the blue obelisk, hard to make it make sense.....Like start at the top of the map around 15 lat-39 lon and head south from there toward 54 lat - 34 lon just before the mountains at the red Ob...they can spawn other places but that is where i've found all of mine!
Honestly, the Jerboas are the hamsters or ark. always dying in horrible ways! Anyone else have trouble keeping them alive hahah. I think ive gone through at least 10 already. Microraptors, wolves and daedons I swear are teaming up.
Haha yeah they are! Always the case! :) That's why I always end up taming over 10 of them during a playthrough, probably going to tame a lot more now that they have babies out in the wild XD
Has anyone experienced the major problem in single player where I upload my character and try to move between the island and scorched earth and back again but the game spawns a lvl 1 clone of my character and kicks me out of my tribe???? It’s infuriating and making the game unplayable
12:10 It's in my honourable mentions haha, to me it's more of a Trophy tame, I went for more Needed tames for this list and creatures that have the most utility and use during a playthrough, I do think the Wyvern is 10 times better than a Phoenix and I've personally only ever tamed the Phoenix once just to say i've tamed it, still rode my Wyvern all the time even after taming it XD

Haha nah they're even better in ASA, can find up to wild level 150s now, they are super tanky with loads of weight XD...army of Jerboas with ascended Flak helmets, strong army!
Assuming you mean Survival Evolved? haha, Fasola is completely new and the map has changed massively, very different in a way to Scorched Earth from Survival Evolved, it's brutal! I've died like 40 times in 2 days XD

12:10 It's in my honourable mentions haha, to me it's more of a Trophy tame, I went for more Needed tames for this list and creatures that have the most utility and use during a playthrough, I do think the Wyvern is 10 times better than a Phoenix and I've personally only ever tamed the Phoenix once just to say i've tamed it, still rode my Wyvern all the time even after taming it XD

(I still prefer the Argy ofcourse) My Argy beats every flyer but I'd probably get some hate sticking a Wyvern below an Argy in a top 10 list🤣

Anyone elses game been broken since a few updates ago ? RTX graphics menu is broken and even at 4k Ultra the game looks like it's on 1080p... RUINED..
Sorry to hear that and I know I hearted the comment but It is sad to see! I knew someone that had the similar issue but the Scorched Update seems to have fixed it for him, have you tried reinstalling the game at all?

Haha nah they're even better in ASA, can find up to wild level 150s now, they are super tanky with loads of weight XD...army of Jerboas with ascended Flak helmets, strong army!

Assuming you mean Survival Evolved? haha, Fasola is completely new and the map has changed massively, very different in a way to Scorched Earth from Survival Evolved, it's brutal! I've died like 40 times in 2 days XD
