Here's something to think about. Biadesz was not a center that could move any one, but if Beebe can convert to center, he moves people. I'm not sure about this guy and I agree with B-. But the UDFA TE they just gave a good UDFA contract to. You have Steele, Martin, Beebe, Smith Guyton, and the add the UDFA TE, who moves people. You have him on one side of this line and Ferguson on the other side, this line will move some people. We haven't seen that since Frederick's retired.
@@Jman531Here’s what Brugler said about Thomas: “The Athletic NFL Draft analyst Dane Brugler on Thomas: A two-year starter at Louisiana, Thomas lined up at left tackle in offensive coordinator Tim Leger’s zone-heavy run scheme. A blocking tight end in high school, he transitioned to offensive tackle for the Ragin’ Cajuns and started the past two seasons at left tackle, including a standout senior year that boosted his draft grade. Although his feet tend to get loud in pass protection, Thomas moves well laterally and has the body quickness to reach and cut off defenders. Despite several undisciplined habits that need to be addressed, he strikes with a mauling attitude and appears to genuinely enjoy the physicality of the position. Overall, Thomas has sloppy tendencies and needs to stay off the ground, but he is a smooth mover with strong mitts that help him batter and sustain (when they are well placed). His raw power might be accentuated best at guard in the NFL.”
Thanks for the video. This guy has been a favorite of mine for a while. I'll grade this pick as an "A." Maybe he won't work out, but I have some hopes. If Guyton just isn't a good left tackle, they'll move him to the right side. Maybe Nathan Thomas will then take the left side.
The problem with the Cowboys run game over the last few seasons is the O-line coach imo. I'm not sure who they have, but the scheme is not working. Time to get one that can keep players motivated. This young group coming in can move people. Beebe, the LT from Louisana, and the UDFA TE, they have one thing in common, they move players or put them on their backs. Get an O-line coach that can get the right blocking going for the run game and these players can move them. Beebe and the TE anyway, not sure about the late round tackle. But get physical at the point of attack and they can give any RB room to run. This hasn't been happening for a few years now. Beebe at center would be a major upgrade over Biadesz. Beebe put people on the ground, Biadesz had trouble moving anyone. So that would be a major improvement in the line. Guyton gets up to speed and you have Steele, Martin, Beebe, Tyler Smith and Tyler Guyton, folks thus lineup could do dome damage. You throw in the UDFA TE on one side and Ferguson on the other, people are going to move.
Grade this pick 👇.
4th round grade.. Another nasty player we drafted, seems to be the theme..B+

glad we're beefing up the line with depth. Bout time we rebuilt the great wall of dallas. This pick is a B-

Thomas was rated a 4-5 rd pick. Good value

Go Cowboys DC4L yes we went hard OL Tyler Guyton Oklahoma Cooper Beebe Kansas State and Nathan Thomas Louisiana
C. Good thing we don’t need a running back. Smh…
The oline is more important 🤷♂️
Roy Williams got this
@@janicebradley9406 yeah, maybe they can hand the ball off to one of those 300 pound dudes !
Well on to the unrated free agents ........can't really knock the pick nothing flashie but we did seem 2 beef up the Oline.
None of these players the Cowboys drafted will make an impact besides the offensive lineman
Lol okay
He will beat out Guyton in year one but as Guyton improves(ie..learns how to actually make contact and move defenders) he will take over in year two.
Lol you funny
